The Cries

  Takashi went back to the lair.

"I'll be back in the morning."

Then the tail went away, the shell came back and the wings shriveled away.

"Donnie?"

Then Takashi collapsed on the floor.

April ran to him.

"April get away from that thing!"

Leo appeared out of the smoke.

"Leo can't you see your brother is slowly dieing! We need to help him!"

Leo shook his head then his right hand on his forehead.

"Please."

Leo looked at April then Donnie, then back to April.

"Fu**!"

Leo got Donnie arm and put in on his shoulder.

April did the same on Donnie's other arm.

"Why does he have to be so tall?"

April said this while her and Leo dragged Donnie to his room.

When they put Donnie on his bed, April was breathing heavy.

"I'll be back."

April stood at the door, waiting for Leo.

When he came back, he had chains.

"No Leo. Not again."

"If you said he was being controlled by something, we have to. Unless you want to be attacked again."

April had tears coming down her eyes. Then she let Leo chain Donnie on the bed.

When Leo left, April throw herself on Donnie, bailing in tears.

"This all my fault! I'm the reason Takashi got into you! I should die!"

Donnie's eyes opened weakly.

"Help me."

Barley a sound came out of his mouth.

"Donnie, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."

"Its not your fault."

His voice slightly got stronger.

"I'm the reason he got in your head in the first place. Why did I push away? I wished I never did."

"You were scared."

April looked at Donnie's red brown eyes.

"I'll never forget those eyes."

Then she kissed him soft on the lips.

When April pulled away and saw the chains, she stopped crying.

"I will get you out."

"Don't, please don't. I'm a monster that deserves to die."

"No Donnie."

Tears rolled down Donnie's cheek.

"But I can't die, he wants me to see every death, see the pain, see..."

Donnie fadded away.

"Donnie?"

A tear rolled down April's eyes.

"Kill me."

Donnie starred at April's eyes when he said those words.

April got off Donnie, starring at him.

Then she remembered something.

"I know you're scared, I can feel it."

"April please."

"It's in the air, I know you feel that too."

"Please!"

Then Donnie hit his head on the pillow.

"But take a chance on me
You won't regret it, no."

Donnie stopped.

She loves me to much to kill me.

"One more 'No' and I'll believe you
I'll walk away and I will leave you be
And that's the last time you'll say no, say no to me."

April smiled because Donnie was seeing along in a whisper.

Then she let Donnie to sing.

"I won't take long to find another lover, but I want you."

Donnie was getting stronger, his skin started getting to his normal green.

"I can't spend another minute getting over loving you."

April joined in, wanting to sing with Donnie.

Donnie felt himself getting stronger.Feeling his fear weaken.

"April."

Donnie sounded like his old self.

"Donnie! You look..."

"The song, its weakening him!"

April jumped on Donnie.

"Now you're gonna say yeah

April screamed yes, and then kissed Donnie.

When they parted, something happened.

Donnie's eyes went red, his skin got darker.

"I'm never leaving April."

April jumped off, then Donnie black out.

"No."

April feel to her knees, bailing in years.

"Donnie."
