LOVE HAPPENS

DAY- LET'S START OVER

KARAN POV-

When I came back home after dropping my family, it was a mess. Everything was scattered in the room, my clothes, my caps were all dripping wet and my shoes were in a gunny sack. But the scariest part was that Teju was missing. I looked everywhere but she was not there. I called at the gate and asked the watchman if he had seen Tejasswi leaving the building. Luckily, he did 'madam ke hath me bada sa bag tha aur wo taxi me baith ke chali gayi' he said. I was relieved that at least nothing of the horrible things I had been imagining happened to her.

Then it clicked on me, I had some idea about what might have happened, the moment I saw paps at the airport clicking me and 'her' together I knew it.

I tried calling teju, but she didn't pick up. Of course what was I thinking? The second call was a miss again. Then third, fourth and so on. I thought of calling her parents but what if she is not there, she might be with some friend and they have no idea, and then I will involve them in this whole mess.

I tried calling her again and on the eleventh call she picked it up.
"You threw my clothes out of the closet?"

T- "Yes!"

"And my caps in the tub?

T-" hmmmm"

"And shoes behind the door on that gunny sack?"

"You found them?"

I left a sigh "why?"

T-"Because I wanted to..!!!"

"Where are you?"

T- " I am not telling you!"
She said in a soft voice.

"Come home!"

T- "No"

"Why?"

T- "Why should I?"

I just don't know how to answer that.

"Tell me where you are? At your parents place?"

T- "No! I didn't want them to worry. If I go home at this time, they will ask questions."

"Tell me where are you?"

T-" I am safe!"

She said as if she knew I was freaking out.
"Tejasswi....."

I tried to explain but She disconnected, when I tried again it was switched off.

Next day I woke up with a plan. I want her back not just in this house but now in my life forever.

It was almost 8, she will be reaching to her office at around 10 if I leave at 9 I will be there before her, I needed to see her.

I was at the parking of her office and she walked past me, just like that, and then came back again I wanted to smile at the whole scenario but I just don't want to make her more furious.

T-" what are you doing here?"

"Come home!"

T- " it's my office Karan!"

"And I am your husband! I deserve to explain my side of story as well"

T- "I know your side of story!"

"And what is it?"

T- " you never wanted to marry me. You agreed because of your parents and...."

"And?"

T-" I think you like someone else!" She lowered her gaze.

I could see there was a hint of pain in those big eyes. She was hurt, very hurt.

"And who is she?"

T-" You tell!" Her voice was shaking.

" Can you come home in the evening, let me tell you my side of story and till then just  don't assume shit!" I was surprised with myself I was patient beyond my own imagination.

"I will not!' she said and ran away.
