Kieran is holding a mass.
"Thank you all for coming. It means more than I can tell you." He spoke to everyone gathered there today. "We gather today for the first public service of our newly reopened church. St. Anne's can finally once again be the heart of our community, where we can congregate as a people united. Here, this hour, we come together to praise God and give thanks. The events that took place at our church were tragic."
Klaus, Caroline, Stefan and Marcel, sitting next to each other, started to talk, while Kieran continues speaking.
Marcel sees someone he recognizes across the church, but can't get a proper look at her.
"Problem?" Klaus inquired.
"No," Marcel answered.
"Then pay attention. We're meant to seem like devoted parishioners." Klaus instructed.
"Really? Have you ever been truly devoted to anything?" Stefan asked, turning to look at him.
"Well," Klaus turns his eyes to Caroline. "I can be quite devoted with the right incentive."
He smiled wickedly, and Caroline swatted at him with her arm. "We are in a church. Don't start being crude."
Klaus grabbed her hand that smacked him and lifted it to his lips, kissing the inside of her wrist. His eyes locked on hers.
Caroline ignored the flames of desire licking across her skin at the touch of his lips.
"...and it is that hope in our hearts, and with the help of many benefactors, that allows us to be here today. So we gather with renewed spirit, made stronger, committed to the ideals of peace and love. Amen." Kieran finished.
While Kieran's speaking, Bastianna enters the church.
"Amen." Everyone repeated.

In the cemetery, Sabine guides some tourists. "Each tomb is well cared for. Families honor their dead with display of affection and respect."
"Is someone there?" Trapped inside a tomb, a girl calls out, but the group outside doesn't hear her.
"This place belongs to the Deveraux family, known throughout the Quarter for their strong connection to witchcraft." Sabine continued.
"Please help me!" the young girl called out.
"And if you look close, these fresh bricks tell us someone in the family has recently fallen," Sabine informed the group.
The girl screams. The tourists look disturbed by the noise. In the next moment, she bursts out of the wall of bricks and tumbles out of the tomb, frightening the tourists, though some of them take photographs.
"Hello, Monique." Sabine greeted, not the least bit surprised by the young girl's resurrection. "Welcome back to the land of the living."

After the mass, the people leave St. Anne's church. Kieran stands in the front of it. Marcel, Stefan, Caroline, and Klaus join him.
"Lovely sermon this morning, Father. Quite inspirational." Klaus complimented.
"I wasn't expecting you to join us," Kieran replies.
"Oh, we were hoping for some word from your human sources on the recent Haitian invasion," said Klaus.
