Suspension

Y/n's POV

As me and my bestfriend Adam ran down the hall trying to get away from a very mad Ray and his little side kick Chuck, Adam bumped into a girl, but while he attempts to flirt with her let me tell you why Ray is so UpSeT

*flash back*
"Hey Y/n!" Ray yelled
I rolled my eyes and turned to the very disgusting boy "What do you want Ray?" I spat
"A date that's what, how about me and you go to the movies this weekend?" Ray said when u heard a scoff from beside me, oh no... I turned and seen Adam smirking "Really Ray? Her? Ya she'd be caught dead before she even gave u a second glance!" Adam yelled from across the classroom "SHUT IT REED!" Ray yelled "Your father must be so happy he's dead! He doesn't have to look at you everyday!!" Ray yelled to him, oh that is it, I got up and so did Adam and then he yelled "WELL MAYBE IF YOU HAD A BETTER FACE Y/N WOULD GO OUT WITH YOU!" Adam shouted, but that's when Ray got up and me and Adam started running out of the classroom.

*End of Flashback*

"Adam hurry up!" I said "No" the girl infront of him told him "Okay then" he said and we ran down the stairs only to be thrown and pinned against the wall by Ray "Got any more jokes?! Huh Reed?!" He said "Well actually-" Adam started but got cut off by being punched in the nose, Adam groaned "Oh im gonna enjoy this" Ray said "Who talks like that?" I said, but that ended up being slammed against the wall even harder, I groaned as my back hit the brick wall of the school "Hey let her go! This is between me and you Ray, let the pretty girl go" Adam said as he smirked at me, me and Adam have a pretty flirty friendship, as a joke of course, he just doesn't know I like him. Ray punched Adam in the gut and walked away laughing with Chuck back up to the class I assumed, I knelt down next to Adam and got out his inhaler handing it to him as he held his breath "You okay Adam?" I said as I checked his face seeing the blood drip down "Ya, I'll be fine" he said "Hey you two! Office now!" A teacher shouted at us, me and Ray went and got our bags and walked to the office as the principal called Adam's Mom, see my mom was dead and my dad? My dad was barely home since he was always traveling, but when he was he was abusive and treated me like I was some slave of his so I basically lived at Adam's house with him, as me and Adam sat outside for a bit I got some cotton balls out of my bag and put some water on them from my water bottle, I grabbed his chin and started whiping off the blood when his mom stormed down the hallway "Not a word!" She told Adam seeing me clean his face, she walked into the principles office and started yelling at him, I finished up Adam's face "All pretty again" I said smiling at him "Oh so I'm pretty?" He said smirking at me "Maybe you are" i said giving him a innocent smile, he was about to say something when his mom came out and we got into the car.

*Time skip to Adam's house*

As we walked into Adam's house we dropped our bags by the door and went to the couch greeting Hawking "A three day suspension! Really?! Really Adam!" Adam's mom spoke, I was a good kid with straight A's so she knew I didn't do much to get this kinda suspension "In his defense Mrs Reed he was defending me from Ray" I said "He was? What did Ray do now?" She said questioning me "Tried to flirt with me" I said turning around to face her "It's normal now but this time really got on Adam's nerves I guess" i said turning to smirk at Adam and play with his hair, he tried to swat my hand away but I smacked it and he continued petting hawkin and playing on his phone "My God, what did he say this time?" Adam's mom said "He told Ray "Maybe if you had a prettier face she'd actually go out with you" infront of the whole class because Ray said something about his dad.." I spoke softly but enough for her to hear me, I turned around and leaned into the couch again letting go of Adam's blonde hair as she sighed "Well kids I'm gonna go get ready" She said "Alright" we both replied walking outside

*time skip to when Adam's mom leaves*

Adam's POV

As my mom called me and Y/n in for our dinner I seen her walk over to her bag in a blue dress "Where ya going mom?" I said "out with a co worker, I'll be back later" She said "IS it a date?" Y/n said smiling at her, I smiled at Y/n, she was gorgeous. We flirted but as a joke, it has been a thing that we do since we were like seven "No" my mom said "Well who is it?" I asked "Derek, he's a co worker of mine" She said "Well your dress certainly says it's a date Mrs Reed" Y/n said "Is it a date? Oh my God it's a date..it's a date" my mom said, I rolled my eyes "Kay can we stop saying 'Date' now? Thanks" I said as I took a bite of my pizza, mom sat down infront of me "Look Adam we should talk about this, so you can have any type of feeling-" she said but was cut off by her phone ringing as I got up and grabbed two sodas "Oh time to go!" I said handing Y/n a soda "Thanks blondie" She said "Your welcome beautiful" I said smirking at her "I've gotta go, one of you lock up the back, no oven don't answer the door and no video games!" Mom said walking out the door as i took mine and Y/ns plates and putting them in the sink as she threw away the soda bottles "Wanna play video games?" She said smiling at me, I just smirked "Race ya to my room!" I said as we took off running, I burst into the room turning the light on as we flopped onto my bed laughing and smiling, Hawking jumped up and started licking us "Ew Hawking! God dude when was the last time ur teeth were brushed!" Y/n said as I just pet him, I laid on the bed with Y/n next to me as I put on my VR, i felt Hawking lay next to my leg "I'm gonna go change" I heard Y/n say as I felt her move away from me "Alright" I said, a few minutes later I heard the door open and the bed dip, I felt a head on my shoulder and I smiled hoping she wouldn't notice "Well someone's smiling" she said "Shut up"
I said as she started laughing, I took off my headset and tickled her as she leaned her head back "A-a-adam stop!! I-im g-gonna p-p-pee!!"She said trying to push me off, I stopped ticking her when I seen the lights go off "What the-?" Y/n started but was cut off by Hawking running out and barking
