Angelic Voice (Vi x Singer!Reader)

(A/N) Thank you @34nobody_noone12 for this request! many of you don't know this about me but outside of Wattpad in the real world I'm a professional singer so this request really spoke to me! anyways I hope you all enjoy this and remember I love you! <3

another thing, the video is what i think of when y/n is singing this song NOT what y/n sounds like because I don't even sound like that so it's just a reference my loves ;)

Warnings: Timeline different from cannon series, the events of episode 3 never happened; fluff; cussing; if there are others lmk

"Allright cupcake, get out there! you got this!" Your girlfriend, Vi, was pretty much shoving you onto the stage of the last drop where her father hired you as a part time entertainer on Fridays. Today was your fifth performance and you acquired quite the fanbase, yet you still believed you weren't good enough for the job which was completely untrue considering the sheer extra amount of costumers Vander gets on Fridays, all because of your lovely voice. 

"Ookay...thanks!" you replied shakily, trembling as you walked onto the stage with your stunning dress/tux. It was jet black and reached your ankles adorned with crystals on the neckline. Simple but gorgeous/handsome as it shone in the neon lights of the classy bar. 

The room went quiet as your fucking dope heeled boots thudded across the stage, all eyes glued to you as you got to the mic. 

You took a deep breath and began the song, the piano coming in shortly after your first note. 

"Fly me to the moon and let me play among the stars, let me see what spring is like on Jupiter and mars"

The more you sung the more your anxiety's drifted away, as if the melody was a weapon against all intrusive thoughts you could have.

"In other words, hold my hand in other words Baby, kiss me Fill my heart with song and let me sing forever more You are all I long for All I worship, and I adore"

Your confidence increased a tenfold and you even started snapping along to the beat, smiling as your voice melted even the toughest of hearts in that room. 

You continued your song until eventually it had to close, and you ended it with a sweet smile and small curtsey/bow to the crowd. Said crowd went wild with whistles and clapping all around, but you walked off the stage as fast as possible because without your singing being your weapon, your thoughts of not being good enough flood back into your mind as you went backstage where you got ready in the first place. You thought you would have the room to yourself for a few minutes but Vi was already waiting there for you.

"Sweetheart you did amazing! I'm so proud of you!" she rushed up and hugged you, picking you up and twirling you around before placing you back on your feet. 

"Ha, yeah thanks..." You sigh, looking overall downcast and pushing yourself away from her ever so slightly.

"Babe, you do realize that because of your amazing voice and overall, everything we get so much more customers on Fridays, right?" she could tell you where insecure but didn't want to be obvious about making you feel better. "Your amazing, and I'm so fucking proud of you sweetheart! so is everyone in that crowd! not as proud as me though obviously" she ranted, putting a hand on your shoulder and the other on your hip.

You started to thank her and apologize at the same time but cut yourself off due to her staring deeply into your eyes, your eyes met hers and for a moment you swore the world stopped.

It felt like she was a magnet, pulling your lips to her own and once they connected, all else abruptly stopped. The butterflies in your stomach froze yet the heat in your face grew as she moved her hand from your shoulder to cradle the back of your head, deepening the kiss.

You closed your eyes as you slid your hands up her broad arms, stopping at her neck and pulling her in yourself.

The kiss was passion and love filled, no room for lust as she just admired you in all your glory, it was sweet yet bitter in a sense of rough immaturity and lack of experience. That didn't make it awkward though, it brought out a silliness in it all, why where you so caught up on feeling down about yourself when you should be as confident as you are when preforming?

Confidence.

Violet had an aura of confidence around her, she was big and strong and so sure of herself she seemed prideful, and you suddenly realized that all in one kiss. 

There was an almost pins and needles feeling on your lips when she pulled away, making you chase after her again and with success, pulling her in for one last kiss. 

When you both finally parted ways you both where panting for breath, faces flushed and lips slightly swollen.

"Cupcake I-" her eyes locked with yours once more, the icy silver meeting with yours. 

"What~? Cat got your tongue~?" You hummed, batting your eyelashes innocently as you rubbed the tattoo on her cheek with your thumb. You gave her a small peck on the cheek before thanking her for the compliments. 

"Awe don't act like your so flirty now sugar tits, I can turn this around real quick~" She suggested, looking you up and down slightly. 

You got up to her ear and whispered seductively "Not in your dads house sweetheart~" Before pulling back and giving her a wink. 

And before she could retort Powder slammed the door open claiming she has found the key to saving Zaun through a single smoke bomb.

"GUYS LOOKAT- I - OOoohhh....I'll leave yall to it...I guess-" She snickered and as Vi tried to yell at her she slammed the door again.

"POWDER YOU LITTLE-" Vi shouted before laughing herself, "one way to ruin a moment heh heh" 

"Haha I guess so, but we could always make another moment last~" You said before kissing her all over again.
