Apollo's Car ...
Apollo drove while I sat in the passenger seat like a princes as per usual. He was taking me to dinner since I didn't feel like cooking at home. It had been a week since Amaria had her baby and she was now home , her and the baby in great health. The pressure on her chest had gotten better and the doctors discharged her. Things seemed like they were going normal , except for the part where they hadn't been able to get rid of Dom. Somewhere in my heart she felt like that family they had found was all a big front. So when I informed Sincere he said he felt the same way so he would keep a tight observation on him. So far he hadn't seen anything suspicious just the him acting like some caring husband and father guy. When in reality he was an abusive psycho , who had some serious untreated mental health issues.
Anyways on a brighter note , me and Apollo were spending a lot more time together and everything was going smooth. Except I hadn't been able to see Raven for a while. When her parents found out all the drama that was going on over here after they went through her phone they completely banned her from coming near me for her safety. They claimed that "Wow you would never think that the sweetest face could bring you so much danger , I don't want you hanging around her anymore"! It hurt to be honest but me and Raven were making it work through FaceTime and messaging. But you know how long that works with friends. All I could say now is whatever happens happens.
I zoned back into the car space when we pulled into a juicy crab. My face perked up immediately because I had been wanting some for a while now. I looked over at Apollo who was smiling at my reaction to his restaurant choice. I happily got out the car walking quickly to the entrance , but I was snatched back quickly by my hoodie I was wearing. I turned around to see Apollo staring down at me with a frown. "Now what I tell you about opening doors"? He said sounding so fine. I giggled and apologized and waited for him to open the door to the entrance. We went up the seating stand where a young pretty girl stood staring at her phone. We stood there for at least 30 seconds waiting for her to finish whatever she was doing on her phone. Until she finally looked up and was immediately star struck by Apollo.
She put on her BRIGHTEST smile and spoke in a sickly sweet voice , I guess trying to sound sexy ignoring the fact that I was standing right here. "Hi how may I help you today"? She said leaning towards him popping her gum. Totally ignoring me still , but I just internally laughed it off. Apollo rolled his eyes at her disrespectful shade towards me. "You meant how may you help y'all today"? He said sounding irritated. She immediately leaned back up looking sheepish that her silly seduction didn't work on him. "Mhm" she said with a slight attitude while grabbing 2 menus and leading us towards a table that had looked like it hadn't been cleaned yet. Now it was my turn to get upset.
"A booth would be better". I said with obvious aggression in my voice. She sighed and popped her gum leading us a little further to the back where a clean booth was. When we sat down she slapped down the menus like I wouldn't smack the dog out of her. "Oh and another waiter , because your obviously not equipped for the job it seems". I said matching the energy she was sending off just because he wasn't giving her the attention she wanted. She walked away talking smack under her breathe because she had just got embarrassed again. I looked back at Apollo shaking my head. "These lil girls is crazy for real"! I said in a soft tone while adjusting myself in the seat.
He just smirked while staring at me. His gaze was always powerful and made me feel weak so I looked away blushing. I felt his hand slip under my chin so I could look at him. "I love you Fatou". He said passionately. My heart skipped 2 beats . He had never said it so freely before and it made me feel so funny inside. Like I wanted to shed a tear. I gathered my bearings and responded with a soft . "And I love you more Apollo". The passion in the air was sliced in half when a new waiter came up to us. His attitude was definitely better than the last girl. He took our drink orders but I quickly ordered my food because I already knew what I wanted and Apollo just ordered the same thing. We sat and talked about nothing in general while I ate like I haven't eaten in days.
"Bro slow down you making me look bad in here , they might think I be starving you or sum"! He said while laughing. I busted out laughing with a piece of Cajun shrimp hanging out my mouth. I covered my mouth while I laughed obnoxiously. Out of nowhere white guy sitting behind us in the next booth shook his head while staring at us with a frown. My ears became hot with anger. "Now I know this colonizer did not just frown at us". I said whispering to Apollo who turned around just for the man to buck his eyes at us as If we were in the wrong for looking at him. "Aye you got a volume problem or something"?! He said to me yelling over the Loud volume of the restaurant. Apollo immediately stood up over the man making my eyes buck out my head.
"Aye don't address my woman like she no bitch , you see her man sitting here , address me motha fucka"! Apollo said getting ready to knock this now red ass man out. His hand was resting on his gun that sat on his hip . I now felt anxious so I started pulling him away from the man. "Apollo it's okay can we go now please". I pleaded . He turned and looked at me with soft eyes and back at the man who man nodded profusely and Apollo muttered that's what I thought. I looked around at the now quiet restaurant with slight embarrassment. Apollo pulled a wad of money out and threw down a few hundreds. I walked out the restaurant quickly. When we got in the car and drove off Apollo pulled over into a empty parking lot. And held my hand silently for a few moments.
"I'm sorry for my behavior back there I just couldn't let him disrespect you like that". He said holding me hand a little tighter now. I smiled kissing him softly. "I understand and it's okay I love you Apollo". I said while rubbing his face. "And I love you more Fatou". He said before kissing me back passionately. A ding sounded on both of our phones and we pulled apart to see what it was. It was a random number that had sent us both pictures. My heart dropped in my ass when I read the message that was sent along with it. It was a picture of us right now kissing.
Unknown - such a cute couple , I would hate to see something break y'all up...
