Svayamvar

In the kingdom of kashi people were very happy and excited about today's svayamvar for their princesses. Princes from various kingdoms is gonna come for today's svayamvar
Meanwhile in palace :
3 young girls were getting ready for their special day, they are none other than Princess Ambika, Ambalika and Amba

Ambika and Ambalika were nervous for their husbands but Amba was very happy as her long time lover king Salva who is from Salwa kingdom was also invited and she promised him that she will only place the varmala on his neck ....she was just day dreaming about him
Her dream was broken when Ambalika shouted her name loudly

Amba: What happened why you shouted like that?

Ambalika: To bring you back to the world as you are daydreaming
about something or rather someone (smirk)
Amba : shut up !! And stop teasing me like that.... Iam your elder sister
( She said it with a false anger)
Ambalika: sorry didi ( elder sister)
And then the princesses got busy in their works
Then they were called to svayamvar sabha
Ambika and Ambalika were shaking with nervousness even the confident one Amba was scared a bit but when she saw her one and only love king Salva was sitting peacefully,her lost confidence came back.
Mahamantri: The long awaited moment has arrived today there will
be a svayamvar for 3 beautiful princess of kashi
The svayamvar is not going to be easy but the true
warrior will definitely win

Meanwhile, A man with white clothes who is extremely handsome and had a masculine personality came to the place and became the centre of attraction. Even the princesses Ambalika and Ambika were excited as they thought he was some king who had came to take part in the competition.
Ambika: hey!!! He is very handsome surely I will marry him today!
Ambalika: hey Ambi (Ambika) don't see your jeeju (brother in law) like this
Ambika: how he became my jeeju ??? He is not your husband ... Understood?
Ambalika: If he is not he will become my husband soon ....wait and watch
Soon they both started fighting for the unknown man and this irritated Amba very much
Amba shouted at them and they became quiet

Mahamantri ( shocked ): Ganga Putra?? Wat are you doing here

Everyone seemed shocked and curious about his arrival
Prince Bheeshma replied that he came to take part in the competition for the princesses in behalf of his brother Yuvraj vichitraviriya
Everyone got shocked hearing this and Amba was red with anger

King kaushya(Amba's father) : It's impossible Ganga Putra we can't give our princesses to this kind of prince who can't even come for the svayamvar.Does he think our princesses are that cheap?

Bheeshma: No Your highness! you misunderstood the situation
My brother ,prince Vichitraviriya had gone to Panchal for a war which is very important for Hastinapur
He will bring many prices and valuable things for the future queens and their kingdoms that is your kashi kingdom which will be very useful for you

Being a greedy king ,, king kaushya allowed prince Beeshma to participate in the competition
Everyone in the competition didn't have the guts to oppose Bheeshma except very few. Even that few was also got defeated by Beeshma
King Salva was one among that few members who opposed Beeshma

With teary eyes,the princesses of kashi started their new journey to their new life which was waiting for them in Hastinapur
Amba was crying like a lost women who had nothing except a broken heart . She was completely shattered due to the incident ...she saw her dreams were completely broken into pieces infront of her eyes
She was extremely angry at Bheeshma who had ruined her life completely. Ambika was trying to console her but failed .
Soon they reached the kingdom of Hastinapur.Ambika and Amba didn't pay much attention but Ambalika was mesmerized by the beauty of the palace. Soon she planned that she should only become the queen of this place.

Soon they were taken to Sabha and presented infront of Satyavathi .
Satyavathi was extremely happy by seeing them.

(Imagine that she is happy)

Satyavathi talked to them about her son's (vichitraviriya) likes and dislikes,duty as a good wife etc. After the lecture satyavathi ordered them to go to their room and freshen up for the sabha

Meanwhile in Bheeshma's room
He was extremely sad by today's incidents. He didn't want this to happen
Flashback:
Beeshma was training vichitraviriya in the battle ground. Vichitraviriya, being a bad sword fighter got hit many times.
He was bleeding badly. Seeing this, Satyavathi got furious and shouted at Bheeshma

Satyavathi: What are you doing beeshma
Bheeshma: just making him perfect
Satyavathi: Then we will make him as a king so that he will be perfect due to the responsibilities
Bheeshma: no, he should be responsible to become a king
Satyavathi: Then we will get him married so the he will take up his responsibilities
Beeshma initially disagreed but satyavathi compelled him to go to svayamvar because she know that her son was not capable enough.
Flashback ended

To calm himself Bheeshma decided to go to the garden but he was shocked to see that Amba was crying there . He decided to talk to her

Bheeshma: Devi,why are you crying here
Amba faced him with full of anger in her eyes

Amba: Don't act innocent .... You are a sinner
She further explained him about her love story
Bheeshma realised his mistake and decided to help her
Bheeshma: don't worry devi!  I made the mistake and I will rectify it
