"Marvin wants to meet with us real quick, be in his office in 30 minutes," he demanded while leaving the room.

"Demanding shit like you're someone's daddy," I whispered.

Micah's P.O.V

I was under the cabana watching the sun set when Marvin sat beside me at the bar smoking a cigar. I didn't acknowledge his presence until he said, "Meeting in my office in an hour." Nodding my head in response, I got up to look for Rae so I can tell her to get ready. On my way to her room I stopped in the kitchen for a hershey's chocolate because I know they're her favorite.

I knocked on her door but didn't get an answer. I was about to knock again when my phone rang and a picture of my mom popped up on the screen.

"Its a damn shame that my son's bestfriend checks up on me more than he does. Did I give birth to you or London Micah Ray ?" She asked as soon as I answered the phone.
Sighing I answered, "Momma, I told you I was gonna be in charge of monitoring government files today and that I'd call you when dark falls, the sun hasn't set good yet," I pointed out smartly with a smirk.

"Wipe that annoying ass smirk off ya face Micah, Im gonna call you later cause Im heading to work," my mom said hanging up.

Looking at the time on my phone and I realized that time was winding down so I turned around, took out my keys and unlocked Rae's door. Like I assumed she had company so I leaned on the wall watching in amusement until Tye left the room.
