Chapter 2

I smiled and said, "So who is it."

She questioned me and said, "Who?"

"Your gaming buddy, Chae," I said

"Ohhhhh well, so my gaming buddy..."

My gaming buddy... is. I actually don't know. We met on the internet, and we just started playing together.
"Huh, but how do you guys contact each other if you guys want to play?" I said.

"Well, we basically just wait for each other until the other is online." Chaeyoung says.

"You should get their number at that point." I told her.

"I would, but I'm too shy to do so," Chaeyoung says,

As I'm about to encourage Chae to get their number, the lunch bell rings. I rolled my eyes at the bell, but I didn't want to be late to class since I really needed to be the top student in my class.

And ever since that day, everything has been a competition.

Sixth grade (Flashback)

"Students, today we have a new student," the teacher says.

I walked into the classroom looking at unfamiliar faces. I really didn't want to go up a grade because I didn't want to leave my best friends behind, but my parents suggested that it would be better to learn the things that suited me.

I looked around the room and scanning the unfamiliar classroom with students I didn't know.

"Please, introduce yourself." I hear the teacher say.

"Hi, I'm Kim Dahyun, but you can call me Dahyun. Please take care of me," I said with a wide smile. even though I was really nervous, I kept a smile on my face.

Then I saw a familiar face. It was her from the hallway, the girl I bumped into when I was in third grade. She still looks so pretty as always.

"You can sit next to Jeongyeon, Jeongyeon. Please raise your hand to show where you are sitting," the teacher said.

I walked over to her and smiled and said hi.

She smiles at me and says, "How does it feel being with the older kids?"

"It feels weird, but I hope I can make it through," I told her.

"If you made it here, then you will surely survive and don't worry, I will take care of you," and smiles at me.

End of the Class

"See, you made it through the day," Jeongyeon tells me.

"Yeah, thanks for taking care of me." I looked at her and smiled.

When Jeongyeon was about to answer me, someone called her name.

"Jeongyeon-ahh," a girl from across the class runs up to her and hugs her. But Jeongyeon looks annoyed and tries to pull away, but the girl has a strong hug onto her.

I was about to laugh until the girl who I recognized from third grade came up to us. She was super pretty up close, and my breath was taken away.

She looks at the girl hugging Jeongyeon. And says, "Let's go. I want to go eat already, " She pouted. Which I found super cute.

"Yahh Nayeon, let go of me," Jeongyeon says.

Nayeon let go of Jeongyeon and pouted, "I want to keep hugging you, Jeongyeon-ahh.

I saw Jeongyeon look away for a bit, which she looked kind of flustered by what Nayeon had said.

She looks at me and starts to introduce me to them and says, "This is Dahyun." Which caught me off guard for a bit.

"Hi, I'm Dahyun. I looked at both of them."

"I'm Nayeon," said the girl who was hugging Jeongyeon earlier.

"I'm Momo," said the pretty girl. And we looked into each other eyes for a few moments until I heard a voice call out to me.

"Dahyunnie," I heard a familiar voice say. I looked toward the sound, and I saw Chaeyoung.

She ran to me and kissed my cheek. "I miss you. Why did you leave me and Tzuyu alone."

I smiled when Chaeyoung kissed my cheek and said, "I miss you too. I had to move up a grade. My parents told me that going up a grade will suit me better."

I looked at Chaeyoung, and she said "Whyyyy I want you to stay with us.

"I can't. My parents have already moved me up. I can't go back."

Then Chaeyoung made a pouty face, and I hugged her to make her feel better.

While I hugged her, I looked back at the three of them and saw Momo, who looked upset and left the room with Nayeon, while Jeongyeon stayed here.

I saw Tzuyu walk in the classroom. Looking at Nayeon and Momo, who walked past her and came up to me.

I let go of Chaeyoung. And introduce them to Jeongyeon.

We all decided to hang out at my house to get to know each other.

Next day of school

I walked to class with Chaeyoung, and she dropped me off to class. We waved bye to each other. I walked in and waved at Jeongyeon, who was sitting at the table. I walked towards the table and sat next to Jeongyeon.

The teacher came in and gave us a question to answer.

"If anyone can answer this, you will be able to skip today's test," the teacher said. The teacher wrote the question on the board.

Once I saw the question, I already knew the answer and raised my hand the quickest. Before the teacher can call on me, someone already had spoken.

The answer is "What is Love," the person said.

I looked back and saw who answered. It was Momo. She saw me turn and look at me. She smirked at me.

I turned back to face forward, and I was upset that she answered it because she didn't raise her hand. But I let it slide since I kind of like her.

As the day continued, it became more competitive with me, and Momo, at first I thought she was joking around, but she kept interrupting me when I tried to answer a question. And I decided it was enough, I turned around and looked at her.

Momo, can you stop interrupting me.

"Why is it annoying you?" She said.

Yes, a little.

"Okay, I'm going to keep doing it then." She said and smirked.

I didn't know why she started acting like this, but it kept continuing until it stopped when we graduated high school.

Present Day

Well, that was tiring. I started walking to Chaeyoung's dorm. I knocked on the door, waiting for Chae to open the door. She opened the door and let me in.

"So when are you going to get a dorm," She asked.

"I think it better if I stayed in your dorm, don't you love me here," I leaned into her face, smiling and teasingly.

I looked at her and saw her cheeks turn pink.

She pulled back, and I started laughing at how her face turned pink.

"You should have seen your face," I laughed.

She chuckled back. "You should really find a dorm because I think my roommate is going to be so annoyed at your loud laugh."

I looked back at her, flustered at what she said "Yahhh,". I started to chase her around the room.

We then stopped when we saw her roommate walk in with someone.

I stopped chasing Chaeyoung. And we both looked at who walked in.

It was Momo. What is she doing here?
