Chapter 4

Y/N's POV

Next Day

I was finally driving to Texas, with a couple of stops for gas and everything it would take around a day and a half which I was more than glad it would take that long. I looked at my apartment that I've lived in for years and smiled, shutting the door to an old life and opening a new one to a brighter and better future.

I held the keys in my hand as I walked down the steps seeing my car with the small u-haul attached to the back. It somehow held all of the stuff from my apartment in it. I had to play jenga with my stuff. I walked to the office my landlord was in and entered, the conversation was short with me thanking the landlord for letting me stay in her complex for years and sorry for being loud which she didn't mind since it made horrible people move out of the building. I walked out of the office and snapped a photo with my thumb in the frame titled, "Time to hit the road! To new beginnings!" I posted it to my Twitter and Instagram before getting into my car and starting the drive.

It was long and grueling, I was five hours in and was stopping to get me extra coffee and some energy drinks when my phone began to vibrate in my pocket. I pulled it out and saw that Pezzy was calling me so I answered. "Hello?" I question grabbing some energy drinks and putting them into my cart, "Hey! How's the drive? I saw your post on Instagram and totally forgot that you were arriving tomorrow." He laughs "It's good I guess, at the store getting food and energy drinks. I'm five hours in." Pezzy stopped laughing altogether, "Wait your five hours in already?"

He asks which I hum in approval as he stumbles over his words, "damn it, guys!" Pezzy yells suddenly which makes me jump as I roll my cart to the checkout area. I hear chatter over the phone before Pezzy speaks up again, "I'll call you back later Y/N. Alright?" I start setting the drinks and food on the conveyor belt. "Okay, don't be stupid," He laughs before hanging up the phone. My brother was weird.
