The bubble popped and Younghoon instantly turned around, making Minju flinch a bit.
"Gosh, I thought you'd never come out," Younghoon started.
"My bad...I kind of got caught up with something," Minju spoke, her acting mode switched on but a little awkward.
Younghoon merely nodded before looking back up at the sky.
Wait, I thought they'd give me the dialogues. Why didn't they tell me I have to make up all the lines by myself? Minju grimaced and looked away, thinking of something to say.
She then heard Changmin's faint voice, "Ask him how and why he's here at this time."
She looked around in bewilderment but no one else was there. Changmin slapped his forehead upon watching Minju, "I'm invisible right now, you won't be able to see me."
Minju nodded thoughtfully before speaking to Younghoon, "How come you're here?"
Younghoon looked at her attentively, "Father said that we got invited for dinner this evening here so I came early to see and hang around here with you. You didn't know about it?"
"I don't remember hearing such things but I'm glad...you're here, now."
"How have you been anyway? Didn't you miss me? You're acting like you're done seeing me every day," Younghoon chuckled.
Changmin groaned, "He's getting a bit upset, Minju. Mind your words."
Minju shook her head, "Ah, it's not that. There's just a lot in my head at the moment. Don't you want to come inside?"
"No, I'm planning to walk around the nearby town first and say hi. I'll come in along with my parents once they arrive for dinner. What's bothering you these days? You mentioned that you have a lot in your mind," Younghoon asked curiously.
"That's-"
"Say that you suspect your father of planning something without you knowing and that he has been writing and sending out formal letters to a particular king," Changmin ordered.
"It's about my father, I'm suspicious about him. I feel like he's planning something behind my back," Minju furrowed her brows.
Younghoon nodded, "I was actually thinking about that too. The way he suddenly invited us for dinner today, something kind of felt...off."
"Right? He's always writing formal letters these days too, especially to a particular king."
"Hm...maybe you're getting engaged," Younghoon teased.
Minju scoffed, "Engaged? No...I just won't get engaged with a random upperclassman. I already told my father that."
Younghoon smiled at her, "I still remember you saying that you're not going to marry someone you don't love."
Minju formed her lips into a thin line, "Yeah, sounds typical but...yes."
"Then I'll wait for you," Younghoon nonchalantly spoke.
"What do you mean by that?" Minju chuckled.
Younghoon looked forward while keeping a straight face, "I won't get married unless you get married first. Although some upperclassmen are already asking."
"You don't have to, just marry one of them and make your parents proud by building the empire. I'm sure it's going to take a long time for me to find the man of my dreams."
Younghoon shook his head stubbornly, "The man of your dreams is closer than you think."
Minju knew what he meant but for the sake of being a stupid MC, she had to act dumb, "What? You don't even know the man of my dreams."
Younghoon rolled his eyes, "Whatever. I heard some news about the Lee dynasty. Is it true that they're coming over too?"
"What? The Lee dynasty? I have no idea," Minju acted like she had no clue about it.
"Oh, well then," Younghoon furrowed his brows, "Don't you think they're trying to set up you and their prince together?"
"What?" Minju laughed, "I don't even know him, no way. Even if they did, I'm rejecting his ass then and there."
Younghoon smirked, "You better not be lying to me. I'm off, I'll see you later this evening."
"Okay, see you," Minju waved.
As soon as Younghoon was nowhere to be seen, Minju shivered. That was tough. Talking to him was hard enough but I just had to remind myself that he's going to have a character development.
Changmin appeared beside her, "Wow, you almost didn't make it."
"Almost? What did I do wrong?"
"You were slacking off in the beginning, you barely got back towards the end," Changmin pursed his lips.
"Can you blame me? I didn't know I had to come up with my own lines and speak," Minju complained.
"Well, let's just hope you'll be more comfortable in the next mission. Just to let you know, that was the easiest mission. I don't know how you'll manage in the rest of the missions," Changmin sighed.
"Easiest? I didn't even have any options on what to say."
"I still told you the right things to say. It was only after that you started making progress."
Minju released a breath, "Seriously?"
"We don't have time for this. Let's start some tasks to pass time."
"Do I actually need to educate myself about royalty to pass time here?" Minju asked while following Changmin inside.
"It's either that or walking around town."
"I would rather walk around the town all day long than study."

After greeting Younghoon and his parents, they headed towards the dining table and settled down. Younghoon sat on Minju's left side and the seat on her right was empty.
Minju looked up at her parents in confusion before turning to Younghoon, who was equally as baffled as her.
"This might be a sudden information to you all but we also invited the Lee dynasty to join us for dinner. They'll be here in a few minutes," MC's father smiled.
Minju, who already knew that that was going to happen, tilted her head a bit while Younghoon stared at her in surprise.
They all stood up from their seats once they were informed that the new guests had arrived as an act of kindness and respect.
As soon as the prince stepped inside, Younghoon dropped his royal and gentle smile and replaced it with a sharp and unwelcoming look.
Minju's eyes followed the prince. It was true that he was the prince she adored the most in the game.
She was distracted with his good looks and attractive way of walking when yet another bubble appeared beside him.
