Blu was walking through the ancient woods of Draoidheil returning from the best camping trip they had ever had.
Suddenly, when Blu was walking a strange shadow-like creature had appeared in front of them however Blu did not appear to notice as they felt protected by holding Draoidheil's national plant the Lilac in their illuminescent hands. However they can only hold things for so long, as they are still only a spirit, when they dropped the lilacs they almost instantly realised they the severity that a shadow-like creature was standing in front of them but they didn't have anytime to react because the creature used the crystal of faireachdainn , one of the three magic crystals of Draoidheil, and due to the amount of energy drained from Blu they had passed out.
The next day, when they had woke up the creature wasn't there but the crystal was there was a snowy-like substance inside the crystal Blu had also noticed the colour fading extremely quickly so they had tried to start being happier but for some reason they could not even produce the teeniest amount of colour they couldn't even give themself colour it was very weird for Blu to be colourless even when the rest of the world was in washed-out grey Blu had never felt so little joy that even they was not in the bright shining rainbow colours of their skin. So they had decided to find Alyssa the smartest witch on the island and give her the crystal to see what she thinks about all of this.
After 3 hours of looking Blu had finally found Alyssa however she couldn't really do much as the crystal was protected by dark magic which Alyssa did not know anything about but she could tell Blu that the reason she could not create happiness was because all of their emotions was trapped inside the crystal.
"Is there anywhere or anyone I can go to help me get my joy back" Blu shyly asked.
"The only place I can think of that allows dark magic to be studied is the kingdom of Astoria, however the path is only accessible by magic as it's on an entirely different planet. So not really" solemnly replied Alyssa.
"Alyssa you idiot you have magic! And I'm sure you'll love Quing Zie they are always willing to talk about magic and help develop other peoples" replied Blu somewhat excitedly returning the colour to their eye but it had faded practically instantly but Blu and Alyssa couldn't go just yet even though Alyssa was an incredibly talented witch the trek was still a dangerous and long one so they had to pack a couple of things firstly and most obviously food and drink the trek was only days long so they only needed two pot noodles and 3 flasks of tea each and Alyssa always needed her wand incase her innate magic failed her but it took 2 hours to look for as she hadn't used it in over 3 years because she mostly stays in her tower with her only visitor being Blu so she doesn't have to attack any intruders either but finally their packing came to an end and they was finally able to set of on the mission.
