Hey, 'Fall' has reached a hundred votes, so I figured that it was time to post the prologue I wrote for the sequel...

"Did you see that commercial? 'Après-Vous' the new movie just came out! Jean Cartier and Ash Andrews!" Emy said excitedly, bursting into my room, where I was currently on a writing spree.
Raising one eyebrow quizzically, I grinned indulgently at her. "I'm assuming that you're telling me this because you want to go see it, yeah?"
"Of course! You know me so well."
"Well, we have been roommates for almost a year now."
"Whoa, that's longer than I thought. I'm surprised that I haven't run off yet." Emy said teasingly.
"Oh yes, because you're such a commitment phobe." I teased her back.
"Actually, in the past, I have been, but with you... It's different... You're different." Emy stated thoughtfully. "But enough of that, the movie's starting in 20 minutes!"
---
As we stepped out of the theatre holding hands, I shivered from the chilly night air. Emy gave me her coat without a second thought, something that made me grin widely as I burrowed myself deeper into her sweet smelling coat.
"Thanks." I said with a grin, reaching up to giver her a quick peck on the lips, before we continued walking along the streets of Paris.
We stopped in a coffee shop, where we got a table, and ordered ourselves drinks. Overly caffeinated and sweetened coffee for Emy, and hot chocolate for me.
"So I've got a film shooting coming up in the states next month, and I'd like you to come along. Olivia is going to be there too, she says that she'd like you to come, we're filming the movie version of her book 'Giving Up Rachel' people say that it's going to rival 'The Notebook' and 'A Walk To Remember'!"
"It's gonna be another 'Opposites' huh?" I grinned excitedly, I hadn't been on the set of a movie since my previous books had been made into movies.
"Yeah, and I'm really excited too, I haven't seen Olivia in forever! So what do ya say to coming along?"
Taking another sip of my drink, and wincing as it burnt my tongue, I nodded my head thoughtfully.
"Sure, why not?"

Waiting by the luggage claim at LAX with our two suitcases for Emy to finish flirting with the customs officer, I tapped my foot impatiently, I was anxious to get some sleep, it was a little past 3 in LA, but midnight in Paris, and Emy's behavior was not helping my mood.
I sighed, it felt familiar being back home. But I shook my head to myself, reminding myself. 'Paris is my home now.'
But then I shook my head again and whispered the truth.
"I'm finally home."

Tell me how you guys are feeling about Emy.
Emy or Lynn?
I'll ask this question at the end of every chapter.
The more votes & comments I get, the sooner the update! ;)
