Chapter 2: Gone (part 3)

Those agonizing memories Candypop tried to escape. The night of the demon king, Night Terrors, took over Candypop's physical body.
"Oh this is whom you love?!?" The sinister voice said, escaping Candypop's lips as the holder of the voice held Jeff's arm tightly to the point Jeff thought it might even break bone. He begged and cried, "Baby..y-you're hurting m-me!" He managed to cry out through tears. Usually, Jeff would have fought back but this was his lover. His fiancee. How could he fight his love? The jester only laughed manically as his pupils shrunk. "My my~♡ you think I'm still him?! How pathetic!" The Jester then slashed Jeff's pale corpse like body with his nails causing the male to howl in pain as tears of hurt, fear, and betrayal rolled down his cheeks. The current candypop watched in horror as he watched this horrid scene play out. He couldn't believe his physical form was doing this to Jeff. He knew it wasn't him hurting him. He couldn't understand why. Why he couldn't fight back Night Terrors that night.  He couldn't wrap his head around the horror. Tears rolled down his face as he watched, his heart sunkened down in the pits of his stomach. A wave of emotions hitting him all at once like tsunami crashing down on unprepared villages. Then the voice of Lj interrupted the scary scene playing out causing CandyPop to wake from his deep slumber, trembling with fear. Lj and Jason hugged their lover, asking him if he was alright. The jester only nodded, not wanting to move or even look them in the faces.

Jason knew it wasn't true but he didn't want to press the small jester.
Laughing jack, however, was the opposite.
"Candy Baby, tell us what happened?" He pressed, his brows furrowed as she he rubbed his partner's hand gently, his black nails slightly pressed against his skin.

Candy looked up, giving out a sigh as he thought about his words. He tried to explain, but it only made his chest ache.

"Come on, now." Lj encouraged, he was worried. Corcern was etched into his features.

Jason grumbled, lightly smacking the clown as he sighed, narrowing his eyes. "Give him time."

Candy gave a slight smile as Lj grumbled at Jason.
"Okay okay boys..I'm just thinking about Jeff..yknow.. our breakup wasn't pretty. And I want him to understand things from my side. Y'know that I would never hurt him."

Both Jason and Lj looked at each inherent and then Candy. Lj was about to say something, but Candy interrupted.

"My physical body was taken over and hurt him. I've never seen the hurt in Jeff's eyes like that before."

Candypop's body trembled slightly as he broke down in tears. "And now he forever hates me. I just wish he knew I wouldn't hurt him. I never wanted to hurt him. I loved him."
He sobbed.

Jason rubbed Candypop's head, kissing his cheek as he held the smaller male in his lap. "I know baby..we know.."

Lj pitched in, rubbing his cheek as well. "Oh Candy baby..why didn't you tell us sooner..?"

"Because I thought you'll run away from me too.." he simply replied.

Jason lifted his chin, giving him a small smile. "Oh baby we would never.."

Lj kissed on Candy's neck, gripping his hips. "Ofcourse not..we love out baby..our Candy baby.." he cooed in the male's pointy ears.

A blush crept on Candypop's cheeks.

Jason kissed on his lips softly, "we are here for you baby.." he spoke, his tongue sliding between Candy's lips, finding and swirling around his tongue.

Lj was behind, kissing Candypop's neck softly, peppering his pale flesh with kisses.

Candy moaned, muffled due to Jason kissing him. His hips slightly grinded as he gripped onto Jason's shoulders.
