          It was a magnificent stag the horns that sprouted from their head were a brilliant bone white, Harry couldn't help but notice they looked similar to his patrounus. He stood stiff as a board making sure he made no movements that could warrant an attack from this stag, when Harry glanced it looked like the other animals were watching them as if waiting for something. Harry looked back towards the stag and in a moment of clarity, something flashed in its eyes. The stag seemed to nod approvingly toward harry before walking away, he hadn't even noticed that it had become so quiet in the clearing when suddenly more animals revealed themselves, if harry thought this place was infused with magic before then this was on a whole new level the magic completely enveloped him and warm tingling sensations went through his whole body. He felt his magic gain a boost almost as if he took a magic rejuvenation potion. Harry decided this was the perfect place to work on his magic.

          He made his way under a relatively shady tree and sat down. He closed his eyes and focused deep within himself, that is where he found his magical core, ever so gently he began to tug bits of his magic around himself, he sent the strands of magic to his hands, and he imagined what it would look like to see his magic be transferred to different parts of his body, he imagined his veins glowing with magic, eventually, the tingle in his hands began to grow into a painless throbbing sensation that filled him with warmth.

          After a while of sitting there focusing on his magic and training it to will to his command, he decided that it was time to try a spell. Slowly he opened his eyes, still focusing on directing the course of his magic into his hands. His green eyes filtered around the clearing to try and find something suitable to perform a spell on, his eyes landed on a relatively small rock nearby, he once again closed his eyes and imagined pushing his magic outwards and onto the rock, he muttered the spell quietly to himself "Wingardium Leviosa" He felt a tendril of his magic shoot out and tighten itself around the rock. Harry opened his green eyes, they seemed to glint with magic, but yet again it could be a trick of the light. The rock was indeed now levitating several feet into the air, he smiled to himself he had done it, he let the room drop down to the ground. He let his eyes wander around the clearing, and that's when he seemed to realize he had several small critters lying on his, a squirrel in his hair and butterflies on his clothes, but the most noticeable one seemed to be a young fawn. Harry opted not to move from his sitting position any time soon. He peeked up at the trees to see bits of sun streaming through the leaves, it seemed he still had quite some time until he was due home, it looked to be around mid-noon.

          Harry allowed himself to be consumed by his thoughts, thinking about how many people he had failed to save and how disapoi-, Harry blinked rapidly ridding those thoughts from his head now was not the time for such deprecating thoughts. He decided to continue his training. Time seemed to fly by, and by the time he opened his eyes once more it was already dark, with the last bit of magic he could muster he managed to cast one last spell "Tempus" he uttered under his breath. He couldn't believe his eyes it was already 7:30, Harry thought it would be best to leave now since it might take him longer to reach the Dursley's house because of how exhausted he was. He slowly stood up his limbs stinging slightly due to him not moving much, he began walking to the exit of the clearing, he turned around and waved goodbye to the animals who were still resting under the trees Harry didn't know if they understood what it meant when he waved but there was something about the animals that made him think they were saying goodbye to him as well as he left the clearing. He stayed aware of his surroundings so he wouldn't miss any critical landmarks in the forest that he used when he first entered the forest so he could make his way out. He found his way out of the forest with relative ease and made his way back.

{Hello! As you have noticed this chapter didn't really progress the plot much I just wanted to give Harry a safe space he could go to when the Dursleys became too much I thought it might be a nice touch, though if you don't like the idea it can always be removed.}
