The next week was a blur. Much to Jimin's dismay, nothing else happened in the following nights. Jungkook was working late again. Even when he came home after ten, he was nose deep in his laptop working on some engine design.

Tension rolled off him in waves and Jimin gave him the space he needed while he took care of him silently. Some days Jungkook crashed in the living room, exhausted because of work. Other days, he climbed into the bed in the wee hours of morning.

The omega did not like that the alpha got only a couple of hours of sleep but he did his best to support him and be understanding. While he had no work experience to relate, he had pulled enough all-nighters in college during exam season to know how stressful it was to meet deadlines and so on.

He thought back to the days he ran on caffeine in his system alone. Jungkook was a year older than him. It hadn't been long before he began to work.

The apartment itself was a gift from Jungkook's uncle and his two cousins, Namjoon and Seokjin. Jungkook drove Seokjin's old car after the elder bought a new one six months ago. The alpha had no savings and basically ran from one paycheck to the other.

So Jimin understood the alpha's need to prove himself and work harder. His omega was pleased that their alpha was doing this for them, to provide them. Soon he would also go to work and he would be able to support the alpha. Until then, he would do anything it would take to make it less stressful and comfortable for the alpha.
