I woke up with a throbbing headache and glanced around the room where I slept in ..rather was locked in.

It was a barely furnished room with only one little window ,a rug and the bed I was on in the corner of the room . Sighing, I rubbed my eyes, or tried to but the ache in my left wrist reminded me of my fall . I inspected it and poked tenderly at the swollen side and hissed at the pain that zapped through me .

As a werewolf, it would heal on time, so by evening, it should be okay. Alyssa growled at me and reminded me that I was in dangerous and unknown territory and told me to stay on guard . I rolled eyes at her.

Thanks for reminding .
Like my heart wasn't in my throat already. I sighed again ,there's nothing much I can do in this situation ,but if I die, I hope Carl would die a slow, painful death.

I glanced around the room and found my gym bag at the other end of the room . Hurriedly, I went to take it and glanced through it.
Fortunately, all was there apart from ...my phone.
I growled. Idiots. Probably thought I'd call for backup.

Looks like it's over for me after all. I gave a short lewd glance at the room I was locked in. It was like every other dungeon, with only one small window, and no chance to escape.

I stayed there for hours on end,not touching the food that was in one corner of the cell.
Hours later,I was startled awake by the sound of metal door opening. I didn't even know when I slept.
The guard that opened the door grunted. "The Alpha is ready to see you now, behave ,or I'll have to hurt you.
I rolled my eyes. Like they wouldn't hurt me either way.
He walked me too the main gate of the dungeon, where I was put into the care of two lycans .

The Lycan on my left huffed-"What a good little rogue. She didn't even put up a fight."
At that,I growled." If one of your stupid assed men didn't knock me out yesterday, you'd have known I'm not a rogue. Really,I'm just a very unfortunate wolf ,who happened to fall into the woods a few hours before her birthday" I huffed.

"She's got a feisty mouth too. I hope the Alpha doesn't make us kill this one" I could hear the teasing 8n his voice ,and I looked up to glare at him.
"If you don't kill me,I'll kill myself. I won't let one of you disgusting things touch me".

I must really be out of my mind today, and probably have a death wish. Cause if not,why the hall am I talking to the lycans this way??

I looked up to the lycan on my right. He hadn't said anything since I'd been taken from the cell. Which reminds me -" how long till we get to the Alpha's place??" . I asked, directingthe question to the lycan on my right.

He turned his gaze to look at me,his striking green eyes clashing with my dull green ones. Dud I mention lycans were really tall? I didn't? Well now I did.

He was more than a head taller than me,yet here I am,confidently looking him in the eyes. It's like I'm really wanting to die. Yet,there's something in me that's so surprisingly calm about this. Even Alyssa wasn't prowling and growling in my head like I expected her too.
She was purring softly, expectantly, like she was waiting for something big to happen, and that's probably my death.
"Did you hear what I said rogue?" The right Lycan asked me,spitting out the word rogue like it was a disease.
"Oh..uhm..sorry. What'd you say??" I asked sheepishly, peeking up at him from beneath my lashes.
He growled lowly at me,eyes flashing silver.
"It's not very long,we're passing the longer route since a rogue, has supposedly breached our security defences."

"I already told you, I. Am. Not. A. Rogue. And I came here by mistake. I rolled down the slippery slope and couldn't get back up. Ask the guy who found me,I was close to the border of Landhill pack,my pack."

I saw the left Lycan shrug from the corner of my eye.
"You could have gotten the Intel you needed, and might have been you going back to report what you saw."

I groaned in frustration and anger. "Are you not listening? I mean, does it look like I could carry out such operation successfully? Seriously y'all,do I look like a rogue to you??" At the end of my rant,I was huffing, slightly put of breath. The lack of food definitely getting to me.

None of them replied, and from then,we walked in silence. To be honest though,I'm surprised I'm not handcuffed, and by the fact that they're actually being ......nice.?? And not violent.

I was jarred out of my thoughts by a nudge.
"Go on in rogue, the beta will take it from here. I rolled my eyes. I'm now a bag of good, being passed down from person to person. My life as come to this.
I walked into the door the left rogue opened for me,not even once glancing at the outer part of the house.

Once I step inside,I'm shocked by the beauty and elegance . But I'm not able to fully appreciate it whenI heard the same phrase that brought me u to this mess.
"Hello stranger "

I whirled around to face the familiar voice. It was the same guy who knocked me out. Alyssa stood up,and started to prowl, growling in my head.

"You" I said.
He only smirked, looking down at me from his 6"8 inches frame. "Come now child, now is not the time to revisit unfavourable past situations , the Alpha is waiting for you. I hissed at him.

All this stress just because they think I'm A rogue. Really, the Lycan king could just come interview me in the cells.
I sigh.

The end is finally here for me.

When they interrogate me and all I have to say is I'm not a rogue, the lycan king will ask them to kill me,thinking I don't want to talk.

Thankfully, the guy, which I figured is the beta, didn't talk,or try to make any conversation. For that,I was grateful.

But as we walked further through the house,my wolf became restless, antsy. I figured it was because we were getting closer to our doom, and didn't bother trying to pacify her.

A few seconds later, the beta pushed open a pair of brown mahogany doors. And as I stepped in, a sense if calm washed over me,Like I was home.
Like I was were I belonged.

"What do you want now Drex?" A gruff voice asked, sending pleasant shivers down my spine and I thought I was definitely crazy.

And what's with my wolf's happy yipping now?

"The rogue is here now Xarold "
I could practically hear the eyeroll in the beta-Drex's voice.
"-Stop hiding and come interrogate her".

No response came.

But when the So called Xarold came out of the shadows, my jaw dropped, and my wolf growled the word I hadn't ever expected to hear in this kind of situation

"Mate".
