♡ Hollie's POV ♡
"Hollie!"
"Hoooooollllllliiiiiiiieeeeee! Wake up!"
I slightly cracked open my eyes. I squinted, my vision still blurry.
"Hollie, it's your first day of school! Yaaaay!"
I sighed and shoved my face into my pillow.
"I made your favorite!"
My head shot up like a deer's.
"Bacon?!" I exclaimed. I jumped out of bed, and started my daily routine. First I wash my face, then I brush my teeth. I slip on my favorite outfit, and apply makeup, brush my hair, and straighten it. I ran to the kitchen and fell in the chair, almost knocking it over.
I started this day just like any other.
But this wasn't like any other day. This day is different.
Today I would meet my future kidnapper and torturer.
Today is the day everything ended- but also started.
I ate my bacon, and thanked mom for making it. I started toward the bus, a-
"Honey?"
"Yeah, mom?"
"I'll drive you! It's your first day, why not make it more special?"
I shrugged. Not like I was gonna argue a free get-out-of-jail pass from that old, smelly, yellow prison bus full of ugly inmates. The ride to school was kind of quiet.
"So, are you excited?" Mom said. I could tell she was.
"I guess. Not really excited for school lunch, though."
That was all we said on the ride. I wish I'd gotten to say more. It's not really my fault, though. It's not like I knew I would be kidnapped today.
