♡ Hollie's POV ♡
I felt arms envelop my back. "Oh my god," I heard a voice say. "Your evil! She's too young!"
"Shut up, Owen. Don't make me kill you." Another voice said. I heard a door shut and pushed myself off of the first voice and he let me go. "I-I'm sorry..." He said. "I was just worried he'd hit you. Normally he takes the girls in here and tortures them..." I looked up at him. He had short, spiked in the front brown hair and hazel eyes. "I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." I sniffled. "You don't scare me. He does."
He nodded, as if he was agreeing. "Yeah. I'm Owen. What's your name?"
"Hollie."
There was kind of a long silence.
"Why am I here?" I blurted.
He sighed. "What they do is they kidnap girls and guys. All from 10-17."
"How do they know their age?"
"They stalk their targets before they kidnap them. The big one? He uses a highschooler as his cover." I looked at him with pure horror. "They were stalking me?" I cried. He frowned. "They stalked us all." The big one came in. He had another girl. She was very young, she looked to be about 10 or 11. I could hear her young, pitiful sobs as he practically tossed her over to us. She fell near me, and I scrambled over to her side, frantically trying to get her blindfold off. I could hear Owen screaming, "You've gone too far! You're a monster!" And the big one came over and kicked Owen in the side, causing Owen to clench his side. "Owen!" I screeched. The little girl cried even harder, and the big one shut the door and locked it. I finally got the girl's blindfold off, and once it was off, I rushed to Owen. "Owen! Are you okay?!" He slightly nodded and pulled himself together. I went back over to the little girl, trying to calm her. I pulled her in for a hug, and we sat there, rocking and hugging. After her crying died down, I tried to talk to her. "Sshhh. It's okay, sweetheart. You're safe now. What's your name?"
"I'm Madi..." she sniffled. Owen came over and sat next to us. I talked to her for a bit, making sure I calmed her down. I didn't care if I was scared. I just wanted this poor little girl to feel safe. "We have to get out," I told Owen. He shook his head. "No, the last ones who tried to get out-" his face turned pale. "What? What happened? Did they die?" I questioned. He lightly nodded, trying to hide the truth from Madi. I wanted to cry. So I did. I sobbed, and sobbed, and sobbed. Madi looked up at me in horror, and Owen put his hand on my back, trying to soothe me. Mid cyring, the big one walked in. "Shut up," he sneered. "It's time to get your new rooms. You first." He said, pointing at Madi. I could see her eyes get wide, and my blood boiled with anger. "No!" I hissed. "Don't touch her, you filthy animal! You're a monster!" He grabbed her by the wrist and I jumped up and started slapping at him, trying to keep him away from Madi. I could hear he screaming when he grabbed her by the waist and pulled her away. "NOOOO!" I screeched, and I fell back after he pulled her away from me. I fell back and Owen caught me. "No," I whispered. "It's ok, it's ok." He replied. "You're gonna be in the same room as her."
"Then why would they take us separately?!"
"They just want to see you in pain. They're sick like that.
"How do you know all this about them?" I exclaimed.
He sighed. "Because Hayes and James are my brothers."
