Aaron walked me back home, without saying a word. Guys, that was so awkward. He didn't even grab my hand like he used to do; he was just walking, thoughtful, shaking his head now and then. The evening breeze rushing through my hair made me shiver. Why was he even walking that fast? He seemingly couldn't wait to get rid of me.
<<Hei Ari, couldn't we just slow down a bit?<<
<<Sorry, I'm in a hurry.<< he replied, dry.
What hurry? He wasn't supposed to go anywere, we both knew. We ended up in front of my house's door. He backed a bit to let me unlock the door and then walked away, waving me off.
<<Ari? Ari wait! Please!<< I called him back, weakly. I just couldn't get over the fact that my first, real love story was going to end in such a pathetic way.
<<What?<< he turned, annoyed.
I rolled my eyes, I didn't like it when he used that tone with me.
<<What??<< he repeated, he was getting nervous.
He's always been a quick-tempered, touchy guy since I've known him. I don't know how I could've fallen for such an asshole.
I looked down at the ground, shaking my head. <<It's all your fault, Aaron. Don't play innocent. You are not!<<
He rushed closer to me, his voice was filled with disbelief. <<What are you even talking about Emma?<<
<<Oh well, you guess<< I replied sarcastically.
<<Stop playing your games, girl<<
<<Stop talking to me with this threatening tone! You know what I'm talking about!<< I moved my index finger back and forth between our chests. <<It's over<<. I shrugged.
<<No! It's not!<< He came closer, his forehead was nearly brushing mine, not in a romantic way tho.
I pulled back, slightly scared of his reaction. <<Go away<< I whispered, even tho that was sounding much like a prayer.
<<You know I'm not. Tell me why! You.. you are going crazy Emma! I know things aren't going smooth as they used to lately, but we can still fix 'em!! You can't just decide wether our story it's over or not. We're a couple<<
The truth was, things couldn't just go smooth with Aaron. He was such a troubled guy. He loved the mess, he loved being an issue for other people.
I sighed, <<We were a couple, Aaron. Goodbye.<< I turned and opened the door.
He grabbed my wrist in one hand and with the other he slammed the door behind my back, impeding me to get inside. He breathed slowly. <<Em, c'mon. Think clear..<< He begged me, my right wrist was still trapped in his handlock.
<<I've never seen you any clearer before..<< I stated. <<Let me<<
Before I could end the phrase he pressed his lips against mine, hungrily. He tried to get his tongue inside my mouth, but I fought back keeping my lips forcibly barred. Finally he let go.
<<YOU DICK!! GO AWAY, NOW!!<< I cried out my lungs, slamming my hands against his chest <<..just.. go away.<< my voice was going weaker. He turned and jogged away, but before he did I could see a sparkly tear running down his face. I sat on a step, exhausted. I crabled my head in my hands and tried to breathe calmly, slightly trembling. My heart was racing. Soon, warm salty tears started to roll down my face. I let 'em go. It's a strange feeling when you suddenly realise you don't love someone anymore.
