Sasha Pov
Sasha: I'm kind of disappointed at Vergil.
That made everyone else raise a brow at me. Their silence prompted me to continue my train of thought.
Sasha: Remember what he told us about his son?
They nodded.
Druella: ah, I see where you're coming from. Honestly, it's quite common for some people to do this.
Sasha: Excuse me? Which part of "Trying to kill each other" is common?
Druella: You don't get it. They're not actively trying to kill each other, they're more on... Trying to bond through action.
Hm, I suppose that makes sense.
Meera: That is true, I mean. Look at me, I had to prove myself to Vergil before he had to accept my feelings for him. And I had to do it on the battlefield.
She made a point, but still. At least he should hold back.
The sounds of metal hitting metal became louder as both combatants took the battle to the air, nearby us.
Their swords colliding, creating sparks and Nero's blade creating flames to empower it's blade, certainly caught some Mamono's attention.
Like Mimil here for example, who wanted to meet Nero after they spoke to each other with a crystal ball.
Gone with her normal attire, and more akin to an actual Witch. Which she said she wanted to become, but will wait until she is at least nineteen due to the side effect of Witches maintaining their youthful look. Similar to Mamono.
Now that I've been exposed to Vergil's world cultures. I found it weird that here in our world, Witches are Mamono. Meanwhile, in his. Witches are women who contracted a Demon's help to do magic.
Mimil: He's not using magic to create those flames that empower his sword. Could it be it's through science?
It was Deonora who answered her question for her.
Deonora: I'm sure that it's both Science, and his Demonic Energy that does that.
Mimil: Hm, that does sound plausible. But still, I'd like to see how it works with a closer inspection.
I giggled softly at her pouting face. While she did grow up to be more mature, she is still quite a brat when it comes to material things.
I focused my gaze back down the Arena, where both Nero and Vergil are pushing at each other, with their blades. Only for Vergil to suddenly flick Yamato to the side, causing Nero's Red Queen to fly to his left, creating an opening.
To which Vergil took by stabbing Yamato through Nero's stomach.
Nero: Oh hell no!
He yelled loud enough to be heard by everyone.
He then proceeded to rip out Yamato, and stab it straight to Vergil. Both lightly staggering from the damage, Nero got up first before dashing away. Stab Red Queen to the ground. Before twisting the handle.
The sounds of an engine, echoed throughout the Arena, and flames spewed out of the holes from the back of his blades.
Vergil himself tricked away, and started firing blades at Nero. To which Nero answered by throwing his prosthetic limb, he dubbed Punchline at Vergil. Who parried it, and said limb flew back to Nero, who is dodging the blades.
When Punchline got close to Nero, he did something we didn't expect at all.
He rode his mechanical limb. Parrying new blades from Vergil, and once he got close. He jumped, blade red hot, and sliced down. A trail of red following his wake, and a miniature explosion of flames erupted where Nero landed.
