The car turned onto a long driveway, Cazper leaned forward so she could see better; Silas lived in a beautiful modern house the black roof, trim and windows were a perfect contrast to the delicate wooden exterior walls that wrapped the building perfectly. He pulled up to the garage and put the car in park. "Home sweet home" the motion sensor lights flicked on, softly illuminating the walkway from the drive to the single stairs of the open porch.

A wooden swinging bench sat alone with a small matching side table, accented with a simple outdoor candle and black cushions. Cazper's eyes shifted from the house to Silas as he turned off the car and started to get out, she grabbed her bag and flicked her stitches to temporarily get rid of the itch that rippled her arm. After climbing out of the car her minty hues sauntered over the house surrounded by trees, stars and the moon. She was simply mesmerized by the architecture of the home and it's surroundings.

Silas shifted his keys, the only black key on his ring unlocked the wooden door. As his hand pressed the knob the inside lights did the same as the outside, slowly increasing the brightness till they gently illuminated the house. Cazper quickened her pace then passed Silas and wandered down the entryway. He let the door go and it gently closed, automatically locking once it settled in its place. The entire back of the house was glass, showing off the woods his back porch and the small greenhouse off the the side, an in-ground pool was the center of the back yard, surrounded by lounge chairs. A built in grill was on the opposite side of the pool, accompanied by a small table and matching chairs.

Cazper dropped her bag on the round coffee table, surrounded by an L-stlye plush black couch and a single oversized matching armchair. The white and black marble rectangle was the center of the wall against the stairs; behind the couch, it held the fireplace; infront of the couch was the wall that separated the rest of the house from the entryway. The slate gray wall had a mounted TV and a black shelf below it adorned with books and random decor. Silas sat his keys in a small basket that sat in the center of the long marble top dining table, accented by black cushioned chairs. "The half bathroom is the door before the stairs, there's a shower up the stairs, oppisite side of the stairs. Make yourself comfortable, I've got work in the morning so I'm heading to bed." Silas looked over Cazper as she was enamored by the house. This night took one hell of a turn.

She quickly bounced back to the conversation and nodded with a small smile "Okay, thank you" Her eyes fell from him as he unbuttoned his vest and made his was up the stairs, disappearing around the curve of them. I need a shower but I'll wait till he's done with his, don't want cold water. Her fingers gripped the zipper of her bag, opening it before shuffling through it and pulling out an old, hand knitted cow plush that had definitely seen better day as one of its eyes was replaced with a button. She set the cow on the couch and pulled out her phone charger and her laptop. After plugging her phone in and sitting in on the end table she sat and pulled the toy from her childhood into her lap. As the water from the shower softly echoed off the walls she powered on her laptop and placed it on the coffee table after putting something to watch on.

After his shower, Silas slipped on his boxers and pajama pants. He closed his bedroom door behind him and headed down the hall, past his office and into the spare room that he used for storage. The room was filled with packing boxes, random small pieces of furniture and a variety of decor. He pushed open the sliding closet door and started shuffling through a box on the floor. Silas then took a bed pillow off the top shelf and slid the door shut. The room light flicked itself off as he closed the door, one of the few features of the house he picked himself as he had always been horrible with turning lights off.

His steps were silent as he made way down the wooden stairs, seeing Cazper passed out on the couch made him smile ever so slightly. He didn't realize what he did at the time but the noise of his shower and the feeling of the water rolling off his skin aided him in gathering the night in his head. Though he still couldn't put his finger on the strange feeling he had so he brushed it off. With a click of the mouse pad her show stopped, not knowing if she had anything else open he simply closed the laptop. He unfolded the soft, powder blue blanket and let it gently fall over her, carefully not to wake her up. In doing so he felt something against his foot and looked down an almost inaudible chuckle escaped his lips as he bent down and picked up the knit cow, sitting it in the crook of her elbow. Silas sat the pillow on the other end of the couch, not daring to even try to prop it beneath her head. Please don't rob me in my sleep..

Silas snapped his fingers, the living room lights turned off and left on a pale  lamp on in the corner behind the couch. A yawn quickly replaced his soft smile as he headed back up the stairs and into his bed. "Till we meet again." Silas whispered the words as he climbed into his king-sized bed and slipped under his covers.
