Unusual Signs

He got out of the truck and she followed. "After you, my lady" he winked and opened the door. Davni giggled.

They walked through the door and were greeted by a waitress. "Hello may name is Joyce, I'll be your waitress today. Please follow me to .your table." She led them to a candle lit table with flowers. She gave them menus and took their order.

"Davni?..."

"Yeah?"

"I want to tell you something..." He spoke softly but was interrupted by an explosion. He quickly grabbed Davni and they hid under a table. Crimson quickly realizing that there was a bomb under the table that they were hiding he pulled Davni and ran, he ran through a giant window with Davni and they ran to the truck for cover.

Davni quickly reached for her cellphone and called 911. Scared for their lives of a terrorist attack. They left the scene immediately. Luckily none of the staff was injured or killed. As they left the building went up in flames and all the employees stood outside in shear terror.

"Davni, are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine, what about you? You did break through a window." She checked him over he had a few cuts but he was okay.

They resumed with their day like nothing happened and went shopping for food and new clothes for Davni. After going shopping and getting in the truck Davni looked somewhat sad.

"Crimson, I want to go home..." She broke down in tears, "I'm scared."
