You and Bucky were currently on a mission...this was your first real mission and your first time ever meeting Bucky
A-Buck watch out
A bullet was coming straight towards y'all but thankfully you were able to catch it and throw it into the gun of the shooter and his gun exploded
B-Nice one
You smiled
*Skip 10 mins*
You heard a bomb ticking and saw it just when you saw it..it exploded
You grabbed Bucky and super sped out of the building but you got quite injured...when you finally got to safety you let go of Bucky and was groaning in pain
B-You alright?
You shook your head no and tears started coming out and that's when Bucky knew it was bad
He had heard about you from Steve and your abilities and so the fact that your crying he knew it was bad
B-Oh shit
You fell to your knees
A-Bucky it's bad it's really really bad
B-Ok let me see
You looked him the eyes and said
A-I'm going to have to take off my whole uniform
He gave you a small smile
B-I don't care...I just want to make sure your ok
You nodded and took off your uniform leaving you in a bra and underwear
B-Oh shit Aubrey
Your back was mutilated and your skin was hanging off
B-We got to get you back to Bruce
You stood up and put your uniform back on wrapped your arm around Bucky for balance
A-I'll be fine just give me 20 mins to speed heal
Bucky chuckled and picked you up off the ground and starting making his way back to the tower
*Skip 15 mins*
You were nearly completely healed
Bruce-Your speed healing always seems to amaze me
You smiled
A-Apparently you should have seen it before it was healed Bucky said My back was mutilated and my skin was hanging off and somehow I was still alive
Bruce chuckled when there was a knock on the door and Bucky was standing there
B-Hey just wanted to come back and make sure she's ok
Bruce nodded and gave him wiggly eyebrows and Bucky blushed and you giggled
You sat up and had Bruce look at your back
Bruce-All healed go and do whatever you want I guess
You chuckled and walked over to Bucky
A-Thank you
You kissed his cheek
*Skip 3 months*
That was just the beginning of you and Bucky
You and him always are mission partners and you guys always flirt and cuddle and help eachother through everything
Today was no different expect for the fact your speed healing wasn't working like it's supposed to and you broke your arm and leg while jumping off a building and tripping and fell bad
Bucky carried you into Bruce's Lab
B-Her healing it's not working
You were screaming and gasping in pain
*Skip 2 hrs*
Bruce had called Barry Allen to help him figure out how to fix your speed healing
You were high on morphine at the moment waiting for Barry and Bruce to be done
Bucky was holding your hand as you told him this stupid story about your childhood that you've told him 7 times already but Bucky would sit there and listen to it all day
A-And then I ate it
Bucky gasped and pretended to be shocked
*Skip 3 hrs*
Barry and Bruce finally figured out what was wrong and fixed it but it would take roughly an hour for the healing to be complete
You were in your room with Bucky because according to Bruce you need to be watched for the next hour
A-Bucky
He hummed
A-I need to shower
He furrowed his eyebrows
B-Ok so do you wanna wait?
You bite your lip
A-I would but I think I would be to exhausted by then since speed healing takes a lot out of you
He nodded and helped you up
B-I don't want you to feel uncomfortable with me here...I can go get Wanda or Nat
You shook your head no
A-I trust you more than them
He smiled
B-How about I strip first so then you won't feel so awkward?
A-How about together?
He nodded and helped you strip while stripping his own clothes off as well
*Skip 20 mins*
Bucky had helped you in the shower and he was gentle and sweet
A-Buck
He hummed while washing his face
A-I'll wait till your done
*Skip 2 mins*
He was done washing his face and was facing you
A-I just wanted to say thank you so much and I need help getting out
*Skip 30 mins*
Your healing was finally done and you were in bed and wrapped up in a blanket tired as shit from speed healing but you noticed Bucky about to leave
A-Please stay
He nodded and sat of your bed and faced you and tucked a piece of hair out of your face then he pulled you into his softly waiting for you to accept and you did...you snuggled into his chest while his wrapped his arms tightly around your waist
A-I like you a lot James
He smiled and kissed your forehead
B-I like you a lot too
You looked up at him and started leaning in and then you kissed..it was soft and sweet
When you finally pulled away he asked
B-Wanna go on a date with me?
You nodded and said yes...
