Y/n and vernon have been close since grade 6, all the way toward the end of senior year.
"Vernon!" Y/n yells as she sees her best friend at the end of the hallway. "What are you doing here by yourself?" She asks him as he stands by the windows. "Im just looking, why?" Vernon responds back to her. "Oh, okay well schools over now, wanna come over?" She asks him as she leans on the window beside him. "Cant. I have an audition today." He responds as he turns to her. "Audition? For what?" She asks, being curious. "Im auditioning to be in a kpop group." He replies. "Kpop group!? Thats great! Can i come with?" She asks. "Nooo, i dont really want you to watch me sing." He said as he let out a chuckle afterwards, then patting her head. "Yeah yeah whatever." She lets out a giggle, sounding a little bit disappointed. "Ill get going now, see you tomorrow!" He exclaimed as he walked out before her. "He can be really cute sometimes." She muttered under her breath as he walked out, leaving her to be by herself. After y/n had walked home alone, once she reached her house she walked straight to her room and laid in her bed disappointed that she couldn't go along with vernon.
A COUPLE MONTHS LATER...
Both vernon and y/n were now graduating. Both vernon and y/n said their final goodbyes before y/n separated to go off to go to college. Y/n had been studying culinary arts as vernon was pursuing his dream to be a singer.
TIME SKIP TO 5 YEARS LATER....
