'Oh god, oh god.'

Jake quickly got up and ran to the giant tree. He cursed under his breath when he realized how big it really is.

'Leah?!' he shouted in disbelief, looking around, trying to spot her in the huge leaf crown.

'No, fuck' he hopelessly spoke as he got down and tried to break into the crown.

But it was too big and thick. It would take him ages to see at the very bottom. He felt like he is about to break down. Did he just witness someone's death?

'Leah!' he kept shouting, breaking through the branches.

He almost jumped up when his hand touched something made out of iron. He slowly pulled it out. His eyes widened at the sight of a small satellite with a few hearing devices attached to it from the bottom. He was confused.

However, a second later it hit him. Those were the reason why they cut off the tree. How did she know they are listening to us and not watching us? Jake was positive that the whole time it was the exact opposite.

His train of thoughts was disturbed by a sudden grip around his right ankle. He screamed in horror and jumped back. The scared boy quickly composed himself when he realized who that is.

'Oh god, Leah!' he exclaimed happily and threw the device away.

He ran back to the crown and grabbed her hand. He pulled with all his might until a piece of hair didn't show. He sighed in relief. The idol really thought she is dead in pieces.

Soon, he pulled her from under the crown. She layed there, face down, completely lifelessly.

'Leah? Hey, Leah!' he shook her, but she wasn't responding.

He turned her around and placed her head in his lap.

'Yo, this is not funny. Wake up!' he shook her worriedly.

A big smile appeared on his face when she started coughing dirt. He looked up and thanked everyone for everything. He was sure that there is someone watching over this crazy girl.

'What are you doing you moron?' she asked while getting leaves out of her mouth.

He looked down at her and smiled in relief. He hugged with all his might, crying happy tears.

'Oh god, I thought you are dead' he cried.

'God, stop crying. You are supposed to hate me for that' she pulled back.

'We got no time for hating right now.'

'Yah, what are you doing?!' she shouted in surprise.

Jake picked her up, bridal style, and adjusted her in his hands.

'Bringing you to my personal clinic!' he exclaimed excitedly.

'What are you saying you dumbass? Did you inhale those pebbles or-'
