"LOVE I PROMISE IF THIS EQUATION DOES NOT WORK THEN YOU CAN KILL ME" Five screams as we hold hands, preparing ourselves before we jump into the portal of colours mixed between red and blue - our powers combined. Just as we take a step forward, a random fire extinguisher came flying through the portal, as we quickly duck from it. Sharing a confused glance, both Five and I dismissed our worries, and jumped through the portal, hand in hand.

We land with force on concrete floor, as both Five and I groan in pain.
"Does anyone else see little Number Five and a random girl, or is that just me?"
I turn to my side and take Five's already extending hand, as he hauls me up from the floor. As I look down Five mutters the word "Shit." which is clearly because we are back to our 13 year old selves. Five grabs my hand once again and drags me inside the insanely huge building. Struggling to catch up with his fast speed, I turn my head to look at what I believe to be are his siblings, whom I flash a quick smile at as I'm dragged through two heavy doors.

"What's the date? The exact date."

"The 24th."

"Of what?"

"March"

I nod my head in content, as Five passes me a simple peanut butter sandwich. Before taking a bite, I gaze up towards Five's siblings, who are giving me indescribable looks. Flashing them a soft smile and wave, I place my sandwich down and point to my mouth and shake my head, which earns me a soft sigh from Five.
"Just like the first time we met." He softly whispers to me, which entices a soft giggle.

"So, are we gonna talk about what just happened?"

Five throws the knife down and slams his hands on the table in front of him, which earns a slight startle from everyone but myself. When you've spent this much time with Five, you get used to his dramatic tendencies and random mood changes.

"Y/N, this is Viktor, Klaus, Allison, Luther, and Diego. Everyone, this is Y/N, my fiancé."

Everyone's faces drop, as the larger on- I mean... Luther, suddenly fixes his posture and asks Five to repeat himself. I slowly hold out my hand to show of the ring Five had nabbed me whilst on one of our missions for the commission.

"Well fuck me, I never thought our sweet little Five would get engaged." Klaus dramatically swishes his skirt around as he cuddles himself into a hug, giving me a sly wink. I softly laugh to myself and smile.

"It's been 17 years." The old atmosphere is quickly welcomed back, maybe with an even tenser feeling this time.

"It's been a lot longer than that." Five shoots back with an irritated scoff, as he secretly reaches to hold my hand under the table.

Five explains that we was stuck in the future, that I can't speak but can sign, and our consciousness/body situation. Eventually, Five and I raise from our place at the end of the table, and spacial jump into what was once his childhood bedroom. I look around at the almost empty room, but also notice the small hints of personality hidden in the room. I turn round to see Five holding up two Umbrella Academy uniforms, as he blushes from embarrassment.
"It's all I have." He mutters. Slowly, I take Five's hands in my mine as he threw the uniforms onto the bed.
"hu..t..tah, thu..." I look down in disappointment. Five suddenly embraces me in a tight hug as i feel small drops of tears hit my shoulder.
"Y- Your getting closer to speaking. Fuck. That's the best you've ever done. I'm so fucking proud." He releases me from the hug but keeps his hands tightly held on the sides of my waist.
"What was it? Was you trying to say Thanks?" I nod, with a teary smile. He cups my cheeks with his hands and smiles softly at me, mimicking my expression.
"I'm so fucking proud of you, my love."

I blush profusely from Five's affection, and turn my head towards the uniform that was recently discarded on the bed. Five's eyes trail the same direction as mine, as he let's go of me reluctantly, and begins walking towards his bed. Lifting up the uniform, he inspects it and drops it back down, scoffing as he always does.
"Wait here. I'll see if we have any skirts that'll fit you, I know your not to fond of wearing completely matching outfits."
He smirks as he winks at me, just before he spacial jumped out of the room. I turn to the uniform and pick up the original pair of shorts that was laid out for me, holding them up against my waist. There's no way these would've fit my waist, I think to myself. That's the real reason Five left to get me an alternative option, he knew these wouldn't fit me. I blush at the thought of Five knowing the shorts wouldn't fit me, as I begin to undress and put on the top half of the uniform. Eventually, Five returns with a matching skirt to the uniform. We both get fully dressed, and turn to each other.
"What now?" I sign.
"I believe we're holding a small funeral for my Dear Old Dad. We'll show our faces for a moment, then we'll have to find a way to stop the apocalypse from happening in the future."
Five sighs and rubs his temple, as the pressure from the situation comes crashing down on him. I place my hand on his shoulder and smile at him softly, a small gesture that Five knew was my attempt of telling him "It'll be okay." Our soft moment was seemingly interrupted, as the Chimpanzee called Pogo came to notify us of the Funeral beginning. Five scoffs and grabs my hand, as we slowly walk back to the courtyard we previously was in.

Hand in hand, we stand beside Five's siblings, along side Pogo. I'm not particularly why there is a walking talking Chimpanzee, but at this point I've seen it all. Luther dumps their Father's ashes on the floor, as they land in a lump on a pile of dead leaves. I crease at the awkward atmosphere, as do all the others. Pogo lifts his head as he asks if any of the siblings would like to say any words in memory of their Father. All of the siblings looks at each other with an amused look, as Pogo takes it upon himself to speak for them. During Pogo's speech, I noted the slowly darkening atmosphere wash over the service. Diego butts into Pogo's speech, as Luther retaliates and stands up for his deceased Father. Five squeezes my hand and gives a disappointed sigh, as we both take a step back and watch both Luther and Diego break out into a fight. As Diego pulls out his small blade, Five takes a deep breath in and drags me inside with him, using his free hand to cover his eyes from the rain. Glancing, I take a look behind me to see the two siblings crash into a statue of a boy, as all the other siblings yell in anger and disappointment. For only being here for about 2 hours, I've seen more drama unfold here than I have on any commission mission.

I push myself up onto the kitchen table and sat on the edge, my body tilted towards Five. My legs sway slightly as I tilt my head at Five.
"An entire square block. Forty-two bedrooms, 19 bathrooms, but no, not a single drop of coffee."
"Didn't your Dad hate caffeine?" I sign to Five, he sighs.
"He despised caffeine."
"Well, he hated children, too, and he had plenty of us." Klaus snorted at his own joke, as he looked around with a solemn look.
Five grabs my hand and starts taking me through the academy. I tilt my head at him, silently asking where we're going.
"I'm taking the car, we're gonna go find a decent cup of coffee."
