Eddie reached down to pick up the broken paddle-ball, instantly reminding himself of the memory. Each Loser went around, finding memorabilia everywhere.

"How do we all not remember that this was here?" Eddie asked them. Violet looked around at the Christmas lights that hung everywhere. It was, of course, after she had brought them down, that she realized that there was no way to plug them in. They kept them down there anyway.

"Hey Losers," Violet's neck pricked up hearing the voice she often heard in her nightmares. Everyone dropped everything, scared for their lives. "Time to float."

That was all it took for Violet to back up and trip to the ground, her PTSD giving her another anxiety attack. Rich and Stella both moved closer to their mother, defensively, not liking the voice any more than anyone else, as Charlie and Stanley went to calm Violet down, who certainly looked like there was no way she could calm down.

The rest of the Losers prepared themselves with weapons, as they too believed it was It playing tricks again.

Richie's face and his laughter soon rang out, causing all of the Losers to glare at him. Charlie and Stanley's glares probably could have killed him on the spot.

"Fuck, Richie," Bill panted out, still scared from it.

"Dude!"

"Remember when he used to say that shit?" Richie was still laughing his ass off for some bizarre reason, not reading the room. "And he'd do that little dance." He started imitating It's clown dance and music theme as if nothing remotely serious was happening.

"Lettie, Lettie, breathe," Charlie held his cousin's face in his hands as her eyes darted everywhere, blinking faster and faster. Her heart felt like it was coming out of her chest, as she heard the strange lullaby that Georgie and Ashton sang as dead kids, in her head.

Everyone's attention was now on their panic stricken friend, who's body went slack and her eyes closed tight.

"Lettie!"

"Oh my gosh, what do we do?" Stella asked Charlie, never seeing her like this before. Stanley was prepared to begin CPR on her when he noticed something odd.

"Uh, guys. Her eyes are still moving." The Losers tried not to get too close, in fear of her needing her space when she woke, but still worried for her as they noticed the same thing.

Violet almost couldn't hear their voices anymore, as her eyes were somehow able to see something other than the insides of her closed eyelids.

She could see the universe in her mind. She was floating in a sea of black with billions of bright, little stars. She turned this way and that, marveling at it all.

Suddenly, something giant came into her view, nearly scaring her.

"Don't be frightened, little defender. I mean you no harm." A voice called out, as Violet tried to understand what she was seeing.

"Who are you calling little?" she asked the voice, before realizing what the large being was. "A-are you a... giant turtle?" The turtle nodded it's head, as the rest of it's body materialized for Violet to see.

"I am," Violet gaped at it, "My name is Mataurin. I am one of the many guardians and defenders of the universe, meant to serve and protect young life, such as your own. I come to you and you alone for a terrible reason."

"You mean It." Violet spoke after a short pause. Mataurin nodded it's head, gravely. "Why me exactly?"

"Your earthly friends have the information needed to defeat It, however that is not all it will take. It takes an extraordinary amount of kindness and compassion to be able to defeat the cruel nature of my opposite. And you, Violet Hockstetter, are the only one to possess this great gift. You must use it to help be rid of my opposite, or It will continue to do it's bidding on Earth."
