Puppy?

Seryo close the gate and came back to its form hiding their cosy little home from the border.
Seryo carried little Axel inside his home where Faye is sleeping with his wife who is also bearing a child.

He lay down little axel on the ground that came running over the house, Axel is so innocent that it made Seryo break down easily, Axel reminded him of his brother and a friend Resee, Axel seems to be happy not knowing what to do to his father or mother, someday he will ask a question about them but for now, Seryo is relieved that Axel is young and innocent not able to know the pain that the awaits when someday he'll know what happened to his parents

"Hey Axel" He carried axel and made his face to him
"Your father is my brother not by blood but by bond, he is a great leader and a friend" Seryo stated while Axel look at him in the eyes

"You might not able to pick up something right now in your puppy mind but someday you'll know, that your uncle seryo will take good care of you and I will train you to be ready if Kreo finds out about you" Seryo spoke then Axel lick him in the face, Seryo giggles as Axel's tongue tickles him

"You know it's hard sometimes to accept that every person, someone that I love always leaves me and it hurts" Seryo sobs as tears once again stream down his face
"I don't want that day to happen to my family Axel, I have enough of this pain and I hope you won't leave your uncle, now enough of this drama" Seryo wipes off his tears and laughs at just how drama he gets

"To be honest you're not my nephew, we are not even related hahaha but call me uncle because from now on we are a family, and your dad and grandma treat me like one when I lose my mom and dad" He stated and put down Axel who just keep on staring at him
"Come on I'll show you to your auntie and your future playmate, I bet you and my daughter will be best friends just like your father and I" He stood up and walk towards the room Faye is sleeping, while Axel followed with his tiny little paws

The room was dark and a lamp was the only light in it, slowly Seryo took off his shoes and went to bed with his wife Faye, he places a kiss on her cheeks that made her awake a little but she didn't, he look down to see Axel vanish but to his surprise, he saw the little wolf in his bed already

"That's a long jump for a newborn wolf like you bud" Seryo giggles with fascination

Axel sleeps in Seryo's arms, while Seryo wanders with worry in his thoughts about Resee. Little did he know that his brother Resee perished with his wife and his pack

SERYO'S POV

I wake up to Axel's and Faye's absence, the sun's rays direct on my gaze, I squeeze my eyes and slowly get up, I start to walk around the house searching for Axel and my wife

"Noooooo!" Faye scream on the other side of the room
I quickly run in her direction, fear trembling inside of me
"Faye!" I call as soon as I take a step inside the room
But all of that trouble running through my mind fades, the moment I saw her sitting on the carpet right in front of Axel playing with my little daughter's teddy bear stuff toy. I pause for a minute, trying to process everything,
I finally gathered my courage to ask Faye.

I have to be cautious about asking her about stuff, after all, she is pregnant.
Pregnant women are sensitive and more likely to be sentimental, you have to understand them, they carry a child for months and bring your offspring out with their flesh torn inside

Speaking of pregnant women, I also have to keep an eye on her because just like I said pregnant women are sensitive especially when we're talking about health

"Faye, what happened?" I asked catching my breath after running from our room to this room
"Ohhh nothing, I just saw this really cute puppy trying to grab Amana's teddy bear, so I gave it to him, Amana has a bunch of teddies to play with anyway" She responds and her eyes once again fall to little Axel playing in the ground
"Puppy?" I ask with hesitation and look at Axel

Indeed he looks like a puppy, a normal pet home dog, If she only knows how valuable this wolf looking like a puppy dog to the hostiles, his descendant's arch enemies, she would freak out. If she only knows the trouble and responsibility this dog she says has to face, she wouldn't able to believe or process it I bet
"Yes is there something wrong Seryo?" She asks
"No, absolutely not-" I walk toward Axel trying to brush off this topic
"Right Axel?" I ask pretending to be amused by Axel's position
He is laying down, showing his stomach for me to rub.
I rub his stomach and his feet start to go up and down, just like a dog
Meanwhile, Faye's sat there in her current position a few minutes ago, I saw a glance on her, her lips were curved into a crescent shape forming into a smile watching us

Her smile is my remedy and joy, I would do everything for that smile of hers, it's just a small thing to look at from other people's perspectives but for me, it's a big thing
Then we heard Amana's cry from our room, I was about to get up but then
"I'll go check on her" she stands up and I stood and was about to protest when she cuts me off
"No, you stay here with Axel, you're quite enjoying his company anyway and Amana always cries all the time, it must just be a fly or her blanket," she says and starts to walk out of the room

AN:_Heyyyy pips, so sorry for the super late update, I know you guys have been waiting for this chapter two, it's a bit of a shorty chapter compare to chapter one, I do promise that I'll be giving you a long and satosfying chapter three.
