Chapter 25:

Jeongguk and Jihyo finally arrived at Chanyeols party, along with their friends. The group took a while since Jihyo, and Chaeyoung were trying to find matching outfits. They walked inside to loud music, and people everywhere. Chanyeol walked down the stairs, seeing the group but, his eyes landed on Jeongguk. He walked over and picked Jeongguk up into a hug. The smaller man laughed when Chanyeol did the same to Jihyo. "Thank you all for coming. I hope you enjoy the party and, if any of my boys give you a problem, just let me know. I got you guys." Chanyeol said while looking at everyone. They all nodded then walked off, following Chanyeol. "So, Jeongguk, what would you like to drink?" Chanyeol asked when they reached the kitchen. Jimin rolled his eyes before grabbing a beer from the cooler. "Wait a minute, he's my date tonight. You can't just steal him." Jihyo said playfully while nudging Chanyeol.

Jeongguk looked between the two, then realized why Jihyo asked him to be her date. "Jihyo, I appreciate you trying to set me up with Chanyeol again but, I told both of you that I don't want a relationship right now. I just went through a break up." Jeongguk said as he grabbed a bottle of water from the cooler. Jimin smiled to himself, happy that Jeongguk wasn't going to let Chanyeol even try. "I'm not trying to set you up. I'm just helping Chanyeol by bringing you here. This way the two of you can talk and, hang out." Jihyo spoke, then smiled but, she noticed that Jeongguk wasn't happy. "I'm sorry Guk. Even though I hate Yoongi, I know that you loved him. I can't believe he cheated on you again, with the same girl!" Jihyo shouted, beginning to feel angry. Chanyeol kept quiet since, nobody knew he and Yuri were in on this together. "I just thought that if he saw you and Chanyeol together that, it would make him jealous, and make him realize what he's missing out on." Jihyo said sincerely, wanting to make Jeongguk feel better.

Jeongguk shook his head, "I don't know Jihyo. I'm not sure if I'll even be able to be in the same room with him if he has that whore with him.." Jeongguk muttered out then heard Jihyo laugh. "I'm not into shaming other women but, I am okay with saying that Yoongi is a piece of shit for cheating on you twice." Jihyo smiled playfully which got Jeongguk to laugh. "Yeah. As long as I have you guys with me then, I should be okay." Jeongguk said, while handing Jihyo a drink. The two of them agreed, and took a sip of their beers before seeing Yoongi walk into the house with Yuri wrapped around his arm. Jeongguk couldn't help but stare, he thought Yoongi looked so handsome. "Come on Guk, we don't have to be around them." Jihyo said as she pulled Jeongguk along with her. They walked right past Yoongi who watched as Jeongguk got whisked away. Yoongi just wanted to be with Jeongguk so badly. "Honey, could you go get me a drink?" Yuri asked as she let go of Yoongis arm. Jeongguk could still see the two from the top of the staircase, and he hated everything he saw.

Yuri ran her hands down Yoongis chest but, the man grabbed them to stop her. She continued with the small touches until Yoongi finally walked away. Yuri looked up the stairs, seeing the group of friends talking, except Jeongguk, who was watching the whole scene. She gave a fake smile and waved to him just before Yoongi came back with drinks for both of them. "Thank you love." Yuri said before trying to leave a kiss on Yoongis cheek but he kept steping away to avoid it. Jeongguk felt a little better seeing how Yoongi kept trying to stop Yuri. "Guk?" Jimin said as he nudged his best friend. "Hmm?" Jeongguk hummed, not knowing what they were all talking about. "Do you want to go somewhere else?" Jimin asked, not even wanting to be at the party. He was just waiting for Jin to pick him up. "Jin is going to be here to pick me up soon, I'm going to his place if you just want to come with me." Jimin said, trying to give Jeongguk the hint that he can spend some time with Yoongi.

"Why would he go there when he and Yoongi aren't together anymore?" Chanyeol asked, and Jimin scoffed. "You dumbass." Taehyung said as he walked a little closer to Chanyeol. "Yoongi is here with his girlfriend. Jimin is just being a good best friend, and asking Jeongguk if he wants to hang out with him. It has nothing to do with Yoongi." Taehyung spoke, trying to help Jimin out. Chanyeol sighed, "I know but, what happens when Yoongi goes home?" Chanyeol asked as he crossed his arms over his chest. Taehyung groaned, "Can you just shut up about it already." Taehyung spoke then looked at Jeongguk. "I guess you're not allowed to hang out with your best friend, and his boyfriend." Taehyung said then sighed as he glared at Chanyeol. Jihyo walked a few feet away with Jeongguk. "You can do whatever you want. If you really aren't comfortable here then I completely understand. If you feel better about going with Jimin and relaxing, then do it. Don't listen to Chanyeol, I'm sure Yoongi will be here all night anyway so, you won't end up running into him at his place." Jihyo spoke, making Jeongguk feel a little better.
