No air in this drak void, the feeling of my lungs beginning to clasp made me shut my eyes in pain. Gasping for precious oxygen searching for a light but only miles of this dark realm was to be seen, i couldn't talk not even a squeak left my mouth was I paralyzed the thought ran through my mind, "No your mines !" My eyes burst open as I heard that horrifying voice still echoing. It was just a dream I sighed in relief as I pulled my covers off and stumbled my way to the bathroom "Why did I fall asleep,I can't take these dreams anymore its eating me alive," whispering to myself. Ever since I could recall I had nightmares about the same place every time I have fallen to sleep, as I made my way back to my bed I grabbed my phone just to message her I don't know why I still do that it became a habit I guess.
Morning was the message I sent it may seem cold but she understands why I won't say no more than that one word, she replied the same. During our conversation I decided it was time for me to get out of the house, looking for a jersey I decided just to put on a hoodie instead knowing that I felt comfortable in them, walking out the door pulling the hoodie down so it would of been even the sound of birds chirping filled the air, I quickly put on my headphones to drowned out that happy sound like the ones you heard when a lovely story begins. As I hit play the sound of 1975 engulfed me leaving a smirk on my face I pulled my helmet on and started my bike, I had no idea where I was going all I knew was I didn't want to be home today. Quickly scanning my mind to see what I needed I realized that I haven't bought a new book in awhile so I decided to go to the bookstore the ride was long and tedious removing my helmet seeing an old couple sit down on a bench laughing , I smiled to think that it can last that long the feeling of love but my subconscious reminded me that not everyone would have a moment like that in their lives. After securing my helmet I made my way towards the store only to be shocked to see her standing there at the cashier, frozen I never thought about what I would say if I saw her face to face again.
