Gregory

I sat up in bed, sweat dripping down me, tears streaming from my eyes. I had tried to put all that happened in the Mega Pizzaplex aside. Recently, I kept have nightmares of it. It always ended with me and Evan being seperated.

It annoyed me, after I left, the Pizzaplex was closed. Meaning I couldn't go back as easily as I had hoped. Meaning I couldn't see Evan again. I wish I could see him again. He's the only friend I've ever had.

I got up and headed to the kitchen. When I got there, my adoptive mother was cooking pancakes.

"Pancakes? Mum, I'm not a kid anymore." I smiled. I walked over and gave her a hug. "Morning."

"Morning Gregory. Am I not allowed to bake you something sweet once in a while." I laughed. She put a pancake on top of others on a plate. She held it out to me. "Here's your plate. Eat up, you have school in half an hour."

I sigh. "Yeah, yeah. I got it. Is it okay if I stay out late tonight?"

"Why?" She asked.

"Oh, just hanging out at a friends place." I lied, I didn't need her to know that I was having trouble making friends.

"Oh! You'll have to introduce them to me!" She smiled and sat down with her own plate of pancakes.

"Yeah..." I stared at my pancakes for a minute, lost in thought. I shook my head to bring me back to reality. I ate my pancakes and got ready for school.

Because I was ready earlier then needed, I sat on my phone, checking out stuff. I checked if there was anything new on the news. There was one article that caught my attention. The title read: "Mega Pizzaplex Re-Opening?"

I clicked on it, scimming the whole thing.

Apparently, there had been weird activity. The lights going on at night. Music blaring from 12pm-6pm. But when interviewers tried to ask the person there, they were greeted by Freddy, who said that the place was closed and asked them to politely leave.

They said that he acted almost human.

"Gregory! Time for school! The bus should be here soon!" My mum called out. I grabbed my stuff and walked to the bus stop.

Another day in school. I'll check out the news better after school.

Once I got on the bus, I went to the back to avoid everyone else. Everyone thinks I'm weird. They call me 'ghost boy' just because I said that I saw a ghost.

I put my headphones in and listened to music. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw someone approach me. I paused the song and looked at them. Shit. It's one of the bullies.

"Hey, Ghost Boy. Whatcha doin'? Seen any ghosts recently." He smirked, sitting down next to me. He was far too close for comfort, he knew that, he always sits this close just to piss me off.

"No. I only ever saw that one ghost. I haven't seen any since." I looked away. This guy sure knows how to get on my nerves.

"Hmph. Well, ya gonna give me more information on the damned ghost. What'd they look like?" I sighed. I never did want to, but maybe I could just say bits.

"He talked in third person." I didn't say anything else. He motioned for me to tell him more. I sighed. "You know that Mega Pizzaplex?" He nodded. "I met him there. It was in the daycare part." I looked out the window, all the memorys of Evan flashing through my mind.

"That's all you remember?" He shoved me.

"I don't like talking about it." I mumbled. He stood up, annoyed that I didn't tell him everything. I sighed, finally I'm alone. I started my music up again, staring out the window, the memories of Evan filling my head.

I zoned out in most of my classes, I didn't understand why Evan and the Pizzaplex filled my head.

I sat in my last class, drawing. The bell rang, telling everyone that the day was over. The teacher dissmissed us, I grabbed my stuff out of my locker and headed out. I didn't take the bus.

I stood outside, looking at how long it would take to walk to the Pizzaplex. It said two hours, meaning four hours there and back, then add in however long I stay there...I'll go some other time.

I went to the nearby park and sat on one of the swings, looking at my phone.
