Author's POV,

Responsibility it is... Are sparks rising among the couple in a Forest??? Now, that sounds exciting. Where will this journey take them?

Lakshay: Come on, Anvesha. You are too slow. Don't you wanna find your friends?

Anvesha: Dude. My old wounds didn't heal yet. Give me some time.

Lakshay: Do you want me to carry you?

Anvesha: I'm afraid, cuz then we'll have to leave our bags behind.

Lakshay: In that case... I prefer leaving you behind.

Anvesha: Whatever... You can even stay here if you want. I'm going.

Lakshay: Hey! Wait... It's you who asked for help. Wait for me.

(A few hours later)

Lakshay: You never told me about you.

Anvesha: You wanna know me?

Lakshay: I would love to.

Anvesha: Okay... I'm Anvesha. I am an Environmental Engineering Student. And I am an Adventurous Person. My parents live in Chicago, America and I was raised by my grandparents. Presently, I've been living in Ooty, Tamil Nadu for my Engineering.

Lakshay: Adventurous? Right... It goes with your name. Anvesha means Discovery. It fits you perfectly.

Anvesha: You're right. And that is why I'm stuck here.

Lakshay: I'm sure they must be missing you.

Anvesha: Yaa...

Lakshay: Do you miss your parents?

Anvesha: I do, sometimes. But I'm close to my grandparents. Although my parents lived far from me all my life, my grandparents never made me feel lonely. And... I've got a good bunch of friends too.

Lakshay: (smiles) Happy to hear that.

Anvesha: What about you? Tell about your family.

Lakshay: I'm a Photographer. I love Travelling. My dad is filthy rich. My mom committed suicide because of my dad.

Anvesha: WHAT??? I'm sorry...

Lakshay: That's fine. My dad has a very bad temper. He used to get drunk with his business partners and hit my mom after getting home. My mom never gave him a chance to lay a finger on me. She couldn't bare his torture. So she left this world... She left me alone. I don't blame her. She was optioness.

Anvesha: And what about your dad? Does he treat you well now?

Lakshay: He doesn't give a shit about me. He agreed to raise me or practically throw money at me as long as I don't do anything like my mom and spoil his reputation.

Anvesha: What The Hell?

Lakshay: I don't care about him either. He agreed to pay for my education. Although, I earn on my own. He never stopped from anything. He doesn't dare hurt me. He brings women home everyday. And I don't meddle with his stuff.

Anvesha: You must be hating him a lot. Do you miss your mom?

Lakshay: Yes... Sometimes. She wants me to work hard and stand on my legs. She wants me to live well. She want me to be happy.

Anvesha: I'm sure she must be very proud of you.

Lakshay: Doesn't matter. She's no more. She was the only person I ever wanted to be with. She was my only friend. My only family.

Anvesha: Never say that again. You have me.
