AMANDA WOKE UP.
She put on her jeans, tee shirt, and converse. She brushed her wild hair. She brushed her teeth, and got her backpack.

Amanda started making the pancakes for her little sister, Katie. She made bacon and eggs after. Her parents came over to the breakfast table to eat their food. (that only really tasted decent is because the put her in culinary class when she was 10 because she wanted to be a chef, she doesn't anymore.) "Mandy. Can you please make me some coffee?" Her father looked up from his newspaper. She pored the coffee into a tea cup.

She waited for the bus to arrive. She got to school, Ms. Kelley was telling them to go to the gym for a pep rally. When she arrived, she stood by her younger friends, Max, Dustin, and Mike. By the time Jason started one of his speeches, Amanda was already zoned out.

After the Pep rally was finished she walked to math class. Next thing she knew it was lunch. She grabbed her food, and she walked towards the drama production crew's table.

"Mandy!" Amanda walked over to the table to sit bedside Diana. "Okay, so you know how Matthew said-" she was cut off by Eddie Munson. "This motherfucker.." Diana muttered.

"But as long as you're into band, or science, or parties. Or a game where you toss balls into laundry baskets!" Eddie yelled across the cafeteria.

Diana and Amanda finished their greasy pizza. Then a few hours later, the game started. Amanda skipped the game, and went to her room.

She put her favorite song on. She did her homework, then made herself dinner. She listened to Blackmail By The Runaways. After an hour or two she heard a scream come from the trailer park. She lived right by the trailer park and the trailer park walls were thin, so she heard pretty well.

She thought nothing of it. Her mother, father, and younger siblings came back from the game. Her parents took the long way home. "Hey, Amanda." She heard her sister's voice. "Yeah?" Amanda asked. "Can i sleep in your room tonight? When Katie and I were reading comics, she threw up everywhere." Laura explained. "Sure, I guess."

Laura sat on the floor. "Can you drive me to Max's House tomorrow?" Laura asked. "I can, but just walk? She lives down the street." Amanda asked. "Okay, well do you want to see your favorite younger friend or not?" Laura asked with a sarcastic smile.

"Girls! Go to sleep!" Their mother yelled. Laura put down her sleeping bag, and went to sleep.
