The world is such a colorful place, though you could only ever see that color in dreams.
The dream you were having right now involved you sitting on a throne, treasures surrounding you. From silverware to instruments, intricate paintings to just plain trash. Everything was there, and everything was yours.
You had this dream often, and it was wonderful. Every time you went to bed you prayed and hoped to have this sweet dream. The waking world was so dull compared to when you were sleeping.
You see, you are colorblind. It wasn't the kind where you mix up colors or everything is a depressing shade of gray, everything was just desaturated. Though for some reason as soon as you closed your eyes at night, there was a burst of color. Your mom just always said it was normal for "people like us".
For some reason it always sounded condescending when she said that.
Anyway, you were currently asleep, but not for long.
Next to your bed was your roomie/best friend, Lloyd, packing his things. Unfortunately for him, he had the stealth of a thunderstorm. For some reason he thought that if he zipped his bag slowly enough, you wouldn't hear it. He thought wrong.
Your eyes fluttered open, feeling disappointment at the bland ceiling in front of you. Huffing, you snapped your head at the noise that woke you up.
" What are you doing?"
Lloyd jumped, dropping his bag, " Uh- um, hi."
" Hi." You stared at him, slowly getting up from your bed.
You pointed to the bag on the floor, " What's that for?"
" Storing stuff."
" Ooo, are you gonna steal something?" You jumped over to him excitedly, ranting, " Oh oh wait, better yet, you should put a bomb in it and switch it with someone else's bookbag. It'll be a.." you snickered, " a blast."
" What? No!" Lloyd picked it up and held it against his chest, facing away from you.
" Well what else are you gonna do with it?"
He suddenly became awkward, shifting in his place. " Promise you won't be mad?"
" No."
Lloyd frowned at you until you finally sighed, " I'll try."
He nodded and took a deep breath, " I'm getting kicked out again."
You gave him a blank stare, breathing slowly. Attending a school for evil masterminds meant.. well, being evil. This came to you naturally, of course, you were a genius. For Lloyd, however, it was really difficult. You didn't know why. Your mom had the same evil blood Lloyd's dad had, so you couldn't get why he would just be bad. Something in his brain just wasn't clicking, and because of that, he kept getting kicked out.
There had to be some way you could fix this.
" Oh," you thought for a moment, " good!"
Lloyd's eyes widened, " What?"
