It was a usual day in the ministry and You were hanging out with the ghoulettes in the kitchen, you all had made cookies and tea. Suddenly Aether runs up and hides behind you with a very upset Dew following close behind him. You handed Dew a cookie and told him to not murder the ghoul who's currently using you as a shield. Dew took the cookie but not before giving Aether a dirty look.
The ghoulettes leave to go see what happened and make sure no one else is Dew's target for the usual drama. "What did you do this time Aeth?" You ask and let out a sigh. "I didn't do anything, Dew just is on a rampage for Lucifer only knows why." Aether says grabbing a cookie off the plate.
A few minutes later Aether leads you back to his room and both of you are cuddled up together on his bed watching a movie, when you hear him start purring and feel his tail wrap around you as he lays his head on top of yours. Soon enough he fell asleep holding you, you lean against him more and fall asleep in his arms.
It was about an hour till midnight when you felt him move away from you, when you got up to see where he was going you saw him walking towards the door of the room. He opened the door to reveal Dew and Swiss in the hallway frozen in place. "What are you doing? It's almost midnight." You hear Aether say. Swiss and Dew respond but it's mumbled, soon enough you heard the door close and feel him lay back down beside you. "Go back to sleep angel, I'm back" he says as you drift off to sleep once again.
