The L/n's what can I possibly say about them? Well I can say that they are a pure-blooded family.That the head of the family is now Robert L/n, and his wife Emelie L/n. They both met a long time ago at Hogwarts, and have "fallen in love" ever since. Robert and Emelie, more Robert, made sure that the L/n's would be known as Wizard Royalty Practically. They only keep wealthy and famous company. They hold their reputation to the highest standards possible, some that are almost impossible to reach. After Robert and Emelie were married they had three children, the perfect family. Jacob L/n, the eldest. Y/n L/n the middle child. Amelia L/n the youngest. Jacob since the day he was born was Roberts favorite. He was so proud that his eldest would be the one to carry the family name for generations to come. Jacob also looked the most like him, Brown almost black hair and green eyes. What father wouldn't be proud? Emelie on the other hand loved all her children equally. Yes, she did have a soft spot for her daughters but she never showed it much. She especially had a soft spot for her youngest, Amelie who looked the most like her, blonde and and brown eyes. Both Parents however had a soft spot for their middle child, Y/n. She was the perfect combination of both of her parents, and showed early on signs of having magic.
But this was years ago, almost 20. Now the pride and joy of Robert was missing, with most believe he is now serving the dark lord. While others saying he is dead. Jacob was in his third year of Hogwarts, I was just about to begin, when one night he disappeared. No one has seen him since, or heard from him. He has never come home, never sent a letter, never given us a sign that he is still alive. Robert grew angry at the world, tries to keep the family name and Jacob's name still with a good reputation. He denies any suspicions that Jacob is working for the dark lord. Emelie looks for Jacob every place she goes, in hopes that he is around watching out for his family. Jacob would have graduated last year, he would be a full wizard now.
All the joy that used to surround the L/n family is gone, Jacob took it all. He's missed all of our firsts, my first date which didn't go so well. My first heart break..also didn't go so well. The first time I was allowed to go school supply shopping by myself. The first time I was allowed to travel to see our grandmother in France. And now, he's missing the greatest first of all time: Amelia finally got her letter form Hogwarts.
"hurry up, Papa" Amelia shouts from the formal living room downstairs as our father walks down the staircase
Me, mom and Amelia have been waiting all morning for the mail. We sit around the coffee table as we wait for Father to finally come down.
"Alright, open the letter" Father sighs
Amelia pops the wax seal off the letter and goes silent as she reads in her head. After a bit she smiles.
"Dear Ms. L/n, we are pleased to inform you, you have been accepted into Hogwarts school for witchcraft and wizardry" Amelia Exclaims
"That's wonderful, my dear" Our mum praises
"Congrats, Meli"I say using her nickname
"Of course you got in" Our father exclaims looking proud that the final of his children will be going to his former school
"Does this mean I get to go to Diagon Alley this year with Y/n" Amelia exclaims
"well, yes and no" Our mother begins
"Y/n will be going, but it's tradition that for at least the first year we all go down to diagon ally as a family" Our mum finishes in her usual soft and calm voice
Amelia slumps down in her seat a little.
"Posture Amelia" Our father reminds
immediately all three of us fix our posture even though, mum and I were sitting straight. Father nods approvingly. as he clears his throat to speak again.
"We will go to Diagon alley tomorrow, Emelie please make sure that the fitters have time to properly fit the girls, I'll be making the preparations for the party" Our father says
"Of course dear" My mother says
"What party, Papa" Amelia asks
"Well Amelia, every time one of you gets into Hogwarts or has huge accomplishment we throw a party" Father explains
"It's more like a ball" I add
" yes, that's the word" Mum adds
Father nods his approval.
"Oh, also get the elves to make the us new attire for the party" Father adds
Mum nods, and calls for Rosey. Father turns around and begins to walk to his study as he shouts for Neo. Neo appears next to him and Father begins to give him orders. Neo disappears again to Merlin knows where.
"Rosey, can you please begin to fit the girls, me and Mr.L/n, for new formal attire for the upcoming party" My mum asks
"of course Ma'am"Rosey says and disappears
"Once again, congrats my dear"Mum says as she gets up and leaves.
"You'll love it" I say
"Diagon alley or Hogwarts" Amelia asks
"both" I chuckle
"did you" Amelia asks
"It was interesting"I say remembering my first year experience
"plus you'll make loads of friends" I say
"sure" Amelia says with a soft smile
"I'll be in my room if you need anything" I say
I walk into my room, closing the door behind me. I fling myself onto the bed as Rosey appears into my room.
"Miss Y/n, here are your letters from the day" Rosey hands me a small stack of letters from my friends.
"Need me to stand so you can measure" I ask
"yes please miss"Rosey says
I stand taking my sweater off so Rosey can properly measure me. I begin to open the letters as Rosey begins measureing me. I got four letters today, one from Draco Malfoy, one from Theodore Nott, one from Luna Lovegood, and Finally one from Blaise Zabini.

I decided to re-write this story because in the beginning I didn't know wether or not I was actually gonna be writing this story as much as I have. This has been in the works for a while actually, I'm not even gonna lie.
