Weeks had passed, and races had been and gone since the last interaction between the two Spaniards. Clara got on quite well not speaking to him but on the other hand, Carlos couldn't stop spamming her. The constant messages every day from him just increased Clara's anger towards him. Sometimes she thinks she overreacted but the mixed signals just overwhelmed her.
Currently in Baku Clara had quite a bit of hope. Last race she finished p6, obviously pleasing her team but herself. Kimi wasn't so happy with a p11 yet the team reassured him.
The Alfa Romeo driver jumped out of her car as quali came to an end and that stupid orange car drove by. To make matters worse her garage was right next to his with Grand Prix. Now and then she would poke her head around, why? Who knows.
"You miss me" That smug voice sounded. Clara balled her hands into a fist as her anger began to bubble. "I do not." Making Carlos scoff. "I know you miss me."
"You always hang around the Mclaren garage and I see the glances you shoot at me." The girl went deadly silent. "And the way you try to play it off is rather amusing." Carlos' eyes gleamed with mischief. "I believe that amounts to missing me, Clara."
The two just stood in silence, not breaking eye contact. People around them felt uncomfortable, to say the least, the way they put it was; sexual tension, lots. "Oh by the way." Looking like a light bulb went off in his mind.
"I got you a new phone." Winking at the girl who clearly is shocked. "Why?" Blurting out suddenly. "Well, your phone is clearly broken since you haven't messaged me back in a few weeks." Before she could say anything he turned on his heels and walked off.
Looking down at the phone the home screen was a picture of her and Carlos from their shopping spree.
