Convention part 2 (late late birthday episode)

So apparently since my birthday is coming up my friends have decided to take me to a cosplay event nearby.

I did get a new cosplay but that was just for fun! I had no intention to go out like that!!

But after so much persuasion..

Well how could I not? Plus it seems fun..

I got a Jean cosplay by the way. No, not Jean Kirstien the horse face. The one from Genshin.

I dont know what everyone else would be going as but I think I have a pretty good idea for what Ara is going as.

My birthday is so soon! I can't wait.

I woke up and checked my phone to see millions of notifs saying "happy birthday" and "wishing me the best". It was 9:30 so I better go downstairs to grab breakfast. Only a little should be left by now. They took out breakfast an hour earlier.

"Morning Shin!" I said to Shinjiro with a tired but bright smile on my face.

"Morning, birthday girl!" Shinjiro replied, pulling me into a hug that I couldn't help but blush because of.

"Shall we get breakfast, Lady Nakamura?" Shinjiro said, pulling away from the hug making me feel a little dissapointed.

"Yes, we shall, Sir Yoshino," I said in the fanciest accent I could muster up.

As he took my hand like in those movies set in the fancy old days, we tried to keep up our roles, asking eachother nonsense like "The weather seems rather delightful today, doesn't it?" Or talking about the gossip going around the school lately.

The banter didn't last that long. I broke into a fit of laughter and he joined me a few seconds after, also laughing.

We met up with Ara and Kazuya seeing Kazuya still trying to explain his side of the story to Ara and Ara still just ignoring him. He really won't give up!

I came up infront of Ara saying a quick "good morning" with a smile on my face.

"Good morning!" She replied, returning my smile and taking my hand to sit with her. I sat beside her and Kazuya and Shinjiro sat across us.

"Good morning, Ayaka" Kazuya said with a smile on his face which I returned with another "Good morning".

As the gang joined us they all said their "good morning" and "Happy Birthday"s to me. I replied with a "thank you" to all of them.

After a day filled with passing presents and opening them, lots of jokes, celebrating and eating we all separated to get ready for the cosplay event. The others went with Ara and Kazuya while I went back to my place since I didn't need help with my cosplay I thought I looked rather nice as is.

--I dont think I can use her wig for a long amount of time though so I think im just going to use my normal hair and style it like hers..

I do have the same color ribbon she does so I'm tying that around my ponytail.

I used to try tying this kind of ponytail with the ribbon only as a kid but I found that impossible so instead of looking like an idiot now, I just tie an elastic around my hair to make a ponytail and tie the ribbon around that. It's much easier to do so.
