Chapter 2: Talent Show

A/n's pov
Today was a normal day you drive yourself and Mae to school. You got out of your truck and walked towards the building and was walking in the hallway when you seen a paper hanging from the ceiling it said 'talent show in two day's' you smiled and knew exactly what you were gonna do.

Y/n's pov
I was happy that there was a talent show I could show the school that my beautiful self was awesome in every way. I walked into Mr. Murray's class and sat at my desk and here came Billy. He sat down and said "you're awful smiley today y/n" I  said "yeah I guess I am there's gonna be a talent show and I know what im going to do" he asked "what will that be?" I said "you'll find out" he chuckled and sat back in his chair.

I paid attention in class and the bell rang throughout the halls dismissing you from that class to exploratory classes. I went to gym and again played basket ball. Billy walked out of the locker rooms and came closer to me and said "don't beat me too hard princess" I felt my cheeks getting hot.
I said "don't worry Billy...I'll go harder" and winked. It was his turn to blush.

I dribbled the ball a little and began the game. Billy was again trying to get the ball from me and he grinded against me a little bit and I took the chance to say "your bulge is showing" he looked down and i made the goal. I was laughing and said "you shoulda seen how fast you looked down" while laughing harder.

He chuckled and said "you got me princess but I'll get you back 10x harder" I chuckled and began the next round he tried and tried but each time I played him it was funny to watch to be honest. He got pissed but it was funny to see him get mad. I made goal after goal when gym was over I washed off and put a little perfume and deodorant on. I walked out back in my black ripped skinny geans and pink floyd shirt.

(Skip to lunch)

I sat down at the table with Dustin,Mike,Will,and Eddie. We were talking about random things when i asked "Eddie can i talk to you?" He said "sure" we went out in the hallway and i said "you know abt the talent show?" He nodded I continued I said "how about we duo in guitar playing we play Master Of Puppets by Metallica?" He smiled and said "you know me too well. Of course we can" I smiled and hugged him he hugged back.

We walked back into the lunch room and sat down. They starred at us and I said "we're gonna duo playing guitar at the talent show" I seen a certain someone starring at me. Billy. I smirked and whispered in Eddie's ear "i wanna make someone jealous can you kiss me?" He smirked and kissed me it lasted 10 seconds and we pulled away. Billy was clenching his fists even though it was the second day of school me and Eddie have known each other for years since kindergarten.

When lunch was over I walked to class and sat down. Billy came in looking pissed I smiled knowing my plan had worked. He sat down and said "i seen that little fiasco at lunch" i said "ok?" He said "just wondering if he was your boyfriend" i said "why do you care?" He said "I don't just curious" I said "he's not my boyfriend he's my best friend since kindergarten just wanted to see how you would react. I was thinking you wouldn't care Hargrove"

He smirked and said "I don't care princess just wondering" I chuckled to myself and paid attention to the teacher.

(After school)

I went over to Eddie's trailer and we practiced guitar and made jokes. We finally got it perfect it was late so i stayed the night me and Eddie cuddled like we always did his arms were so warm as they always were.

(Next day)

Me and Eddie rode to school in my truck and picked up Dolly(Mae). We made it to school walked in the building when I felt hands on my waist I turned around and seen Billy. I said "what are you doing Hargrove?" He said "showing affection" I said "do you like me or something?" He said "yes I love how you fascinate me y/l/n" I smiled and said "cool bro" and pushed his hands off my waist and tuned around you kissed his cheek and said "I like you too Billy" he smiled and we walked to class together when we sat down he pushed his desk and chair against mine and sat down.
