"Were you two seeing things? She's fine now."

Maverick was talking to Maliki. I giggled at them. Saylor smiled at me.

"Come on now principessa. Let's get this over with your family. Told you I never liked them."

Maverick said to me as he took my hand and gently pulled me away from Saylor. Though Saylor did silently trail behind us.

"One moment, I want to talk with Victoria alone kid."

"Uh..."

"Go Saylor."

I told him and he gave us some privacy.

"You give my the go ahead and I'll make sure our men wipe them out. I had no clue that you didn't tell them all. I just...I feel bad for you."

"I'm find now Rick. I just want to make it to the ball next week."

"Okay. You can go now I guess. I love you."

"I love you to Rick."

Maverick kissed my forehead them I caught up with Saylor in the living room. Zane and Javan were waiting for us. It was a quiet and awkward car ride. Once at the clinic Zane told Javan and Saylor they couldn't come back with us because of whatever he said, I wasn't listening to him. I was to upset that Saylor couldn't come back with me.

"Victoria this is my friend, Kelly. She'll be your doctor."

I just nodded to Zane. I'm mad at him and like hell will I talk to you. He let out a sigh.

"Kelly, if there are any problems please come and get me. Victoria, I hope you behave and respond when Kelly asks you questions."

I nodded again.

"I'll be getting scans ready. Oh, and Kelly."

"Yes Zane?"

"Me and my family already know Victoria's...state. We are just doing this so she can get medication and to make sure the rest of her body is fine."

"Alright."

Kelly gave Zane a smile then he left.

"How about we start off by tell me what he means by your state?"

Kelly turned and asked me.

"I have depression and anxiety, which I need to get back on meds for."

"Okay. Okay, well now I'll ask a few other questions. Are you sexually active?"

"Nope."

"Mhm. Do you smoke or drink?"

"I smoke. Not often though."

"Okay, okay."

Kelly was typing things in her computer when my phone rung. I forgot to silence it.

"Shit. I'm so sorry. I forgot to silence my ph-Oh...can I take this?"
