"Huh well that was fun while it lasted."

Edd and Tom sat on the couch right next to each other, Tom was laying his head on the shorters lap. Matt was sat on the floor, watching the tv like he always did. This time he wasn't 3 inches away from the box and the other two could watch what was on. "You ok Edd?" Tom looked up at Edd. Edd had taken a good beating from Edwardo and had bandages wrapped as well as stuck all over him. He luckily had Matt, Tom and surprisingly Edwardo and they had quickly brought him home. They had helped him and Edwardo. Once Edd was okish, Edwardo said his apologies and left. Though granted, the apology was rough and you could tell he was guilty but didn't know how to say sorry. Edd did accept his apology still, Thats one thing Tom admired yet didn't understand about his boyfriend, how forgiving he was.

"Yeah, feeling a lot better now. Edwardo didn't really hurt me as much compared to that monster." Tom froze up. Tom tended to be very protective of his friends, ESPECIALLY Edd. Something about the anger, adrenaline and worry for Edd just made him snap and made him transform into a creature for a bit. Thankfully No one saw him transform or de-transform... somehow...

He felt awful at any rate. He tried to hit Edwardo but Edd had to be Edd and he saved their stupid neighbor. He loved his boyfriend but he just really wished he wasn't so nice sometimes. He would've died if him and Matt weren't there all because he was completely willing to give his life for somebody, despite that somebody harassing and putting them in danger throughout the years. Tom admired his forgiving and caring nature but it really came at a disadvantage. He supposes the reason he dislikes this part about Edd a little more than he should is because he can and is very open to kill himself out of his own kindness. Seeing how many deadly adventures they go on its a little cause for concern.

"Im sorry" Tom said with guilt but then quickly realized his mistakes "No, its not your fault Tom. You helped me after I got my shit kicked in, I should be thanking you!" Edd chuckled and leaned down to plant a small peck onto Toms forehead. Tom internally sighed, relief in knowing it completely went over his boyfriends head. "You ok?" Edd spoke and Tom looked into his eyes. Those same eyes belonged to the same guy he just threw against a wall. It didn't help that he was staring him with a loving concern. "Im not the one bloody and bruised"

"Im aware, you seem on edge though? If its because of me i'm fine, I promise!" Edd blamed himself a lot of the time, majority of the time subconsciously. Tom knew he didn't mean to and it was just the way he thought but he couldn't help but want Edd to stop doing it so much. Not because it was annoying but because he knew Edd always felt like a burden to everyone around him. "Oh. No!! Don't blame yourself. I'm just thinking bout stuff." Edd blamed himself and Tom was very vague with his responses, something they both need to work on. Edd would ask him to elaborate but Tom never would, Edd's helping him with getting better with that though.

"Ok? But don't blame yourself for what happened ok?" It was kind of hard when you CAUSED what happened. He would hear Edd's whimpering and blood displaying itself all over the walls, knowing HE caused that sight just didn't sit right with him, How could it? Tom simply hummed slightly and turned towards Matt to signify that certain conversation he wanted to cut short. Edd wanted to continue on but he didn't push at all. "Matt, bud, whatcha watchin?"

Matt turned towards Tom "The news!! I wanna see more of that monster!!" God he just couldn't catch a break from this. He Lifted his head from Edd's lap and sat up right on the couch "Dude I can't believe we had to pick you up from the police station." Edd jokingly said at Matt and they both laughed but Tom stayed silent. Its crazy how almost killing your boyfriend somehow sticks with you. "What do you guys wanna eat." Tom said it more like a statement rather than a question, showing off how agitated he was. Edd grew more and more concerned and Tom didn't know how to make him stop while Matt kept talking about how scary 'the monster' was. It all was really getting to him. He knew he was a horrible person and now his friends were indirectly calling him one.

"Tom I-" Edd reached his hand out but they were both startled (Tom less so) by Matt screaming "CHINESE!!!" Matt was childish and Tom thanked Matt for this trait of his when it came to defusing tension, whether he did it intentionally or not. "Chinese it is." Tom pulled out his phone, ignoring Edd's concerned, unfinished statements. Edd put his hand back to himself.

Edd decided to not push down his concern for Tom despite his thoughts yelling at him to stop asking. But he didn't want to push him in front of Matt, no matter what was making him uncomfortable. "Edd do you want-" Edd stood up "Tom can we talk?" Tom glanced at Matt and the ginger looks between them both. "Yeah?" Tom speaks up.

"In private." Tom felt chills on his back, he knew he made Edd upset. They both stood up and walked halfway up the stairs so they were out of Matts hearing range.

Edd sighed, removing a bit of his serious manner "Tom?" he said it in such sad way that Tom already started to feel him breaking down without Edd even saying anything about it. "Baby please tell me whats wrong?" Edd put his soft hands onto his boyfriends shoulders "No it's fine" Tom started down the stairs again but Edd grabbed his hoodie, preventing him from leaving. "Tom i'm sorry but i'm not letting you be like this the rest of the day? Please tell me whats wrong so I can help? Please?" Tom turned to see Edd's puppy eyes he used on the taller man when he needed to know something. "Edd it's fine okay? I'm ok!"

Edd jumped back a bit by Toms yelling voice but this time decided to pry even further, ignoring the instinct to push it down. "Sorry for.. Yelling. I know you had a bad day already and i'm just making it worse."

"Its ok Tom, just tell me whats going on" Tom was really getting irritated "IT'S.. ok. edd. Alright? Leave it be, ok?" He really need to get out of this situation before it gets out of hand, His boyfriends concern really just feeds into this.. Transform thing.

"Tom. Im serious. Tell me whats bothering you." Toms patience runs thin very easily and he knew Edd wasn't going to leave them alone so he just let it all out. "I hurt you ok? It was me! I ALMOST KILLED YOU! Ok? Are you happy? Are you happy that you know your fuckin boyfriend that can turn into a big purple monster and kill you in one minute? Huh? Your dating a fucking monster Edd."

Tom started to gain tears in his eyes, knowing Edd would break up with him and it would be completely deserved. "What? You were-? Oh." Edd looked down, a bit confuzzled but looked back up with a smile "That was it?" Tom was heavily taken aback "Its a bit silly but if it makes you feel better I forgive you"

"But? I almost killed you how?"

"Because I love you and I know you didn't mean to."

"But you would've died?"

"I know and i've taken that into consideration. I have decided to forgive you ok?"

Tom didn't even notice he was crying until then "Oh honey, please don't cry! It's alright! Here." Edd said in a soothing tone, wiping away his tears. "I love you, that's what matters. Not whether you can turn into a big purple whatever." Edd hugged him and Tom latched onto Edd's hoodie. Edd just patted his hair "I thought you like.. Cheated on me." He laughed and started down the stairs with tom hanging from his arms. "Lets go get chinese to get your mind off this yeah?" Tom personally didn't agreed with Edd but at the end of the day its not like he can make Edd break up with him so he didn't bother trying to fight over something his partner is not going to change his mind on.

"Yeah." And with that Edd kissed him and made his way into the living room to order some.
