Tyler's POV:

After breakfast I go to the bathroom and get ready for the long day ahead. I look into the mirror and start fixing my dark brown hair even tho I'm hiding it under my black cowboy hat. I then brush my teeth, my smile means a lot to me. That's actually what helped me land a few of my jobs I had growing up. I rinse my mouth out and smile in the mirror. I actually kinda have to bend over to even too in the mirror. I'm 5'9" and the mirror is pretty much up to my my stomach it's one of those circular ones. After getting ready I walk to the door put my boots and hat on and walk to the barn. These horses ain't gonna feed themselves. The B&B is kind of a side job. Miss.May needed the extra income so we made her home into a Bed and Breakfast. It's doing pretty well it's been open for about 4-5 years now and everyday we keep getting reservations for future dates. Tending the B&B and the horses are my main jobs. I guess you can say I'm a jack of trades.

When I get to the barn I open the door and smile when I see the four girls that make my day. There's Luna she's black with a white patch on her head. Maximus, Maxi for short, she has the most amazing combination of colors ranging from black, brown, white and tan. I know this might sound like a common pet name but Spots well I guess you can figure out why her name is spots. She's mostly white with chocolate brown spots all over her. And last but not least Ruby, she's the most spoiled horse here. She has the most beautiful coat ever with her slick black mane and beautiful pearly white coat. She could blend in with the clouds if she could.

After tending to the horses and cleaning their stalls I head back to the house for some lunch hopefully Amber won't be there. She doesn't seem to remember me. Even though we have known each other since we were in diapers. Back then I lived a mile down from her and we would walk halfway just to play in the field. I chuckled at the memories and just smile. We were inseparable, hell if people didn't know better they would have thought we were family. I missed her when she left but that went away after a year but when I saw her again it rushed back to me all the good times and the sorrow I felt when she was gone.
