Book 1: Envy (Jotaro x Female reader)

[Extra- Chapter 5.5]

A/N: this is just a short filler chapter I wrote to satisfy the people commenting on Chapter 7asking "isn't he sick ? since some of you aren't aware of the concept of taking medicine to recover from an illness [gasp]

Seven days later, Jotaro groaned in discontent and rolled over in his bed to face the wall one morning sun peeped from behind his bedroom curtains. The delinquent had spent most of the past four days in his bedroom, dealing with a common sickness that had been making its way around the school community.

Without saying a word, he quietly summoned Star Platinum to manifest itself beside the bed before using Star's vision to see the time on his clock on the other side of the room. It's seven forty-six. Despite having a pounding headache, he mustered the strength to climb out of bed and wander over to the door.

After brushing his teeth, he returned to his room where he propped his back against the headboard of his bed as he used Star Platinum to fetch him a book about planes from his desk on the other side of the room.

Minutes later, a knock sounded against his bedroom door.

"Come" he ordered gruffly, before the door was slid open gently Holly entered the bedroom respectfully , closing the door behind her.

"Did you sleep well ?" she asked as she made her way to sit next to the her son.

"Move" he snapped, half-closing his book as he side-eyed her from beneath the strands of hair hanging in his face: "you'll get sick."

"I won't" she said calmly, checking his temperature with her hand . "Well, it looks like you still can't go to school" she told him, ruffling his hair. "And please, Jotaro " his mother pleaded gently as she stood up: "try and eat something today- and I'm not talking about those breath mints and gummy bears."

"Sure" he replied casually with a faint smirk.

"I mean it, Jotaro."

"Anyways " he added, resuming his normal stoic expression as he continued reading his book with his eyes, "get the medicine" he said. "Bring a spoon too ."

"Alright."

Not long later, Holly returned with the requested spoon and medicine duo. "Here they are" she notified him as she placed them on his bedside table beside his lamp, before making her way to the door.

"Where are you going?" she heard Jotaro question suddenly in his usual slightly-pissed tone as she was about to slid the door open.

Holly turned around, seeing his book shut and placed on the desk as her son was sat upright with his legs hanging over the edge of the bed while he looked straight at her. "What do you mean ?" she asked, confused .

"Come here, dammit ."

Though she didn't quite understand what Jotaro wanted, she made her way to his bed and sat next to him.

Without saying anything, he simply passed his mother the medicine bottle and spoon. "There you go" he said.

"Jotaro ?"

"Just give me the damn medicine and stop asking so many questions" he scolded her lightly, sounding impatient.

"I don't get you. Why do you want me to give it to you ? You've been fine taking it yourself for the past couple days.

"My hand hurts so I can't open the bottle."

"Oh really ?" she challenged him with a smirk and a nudge. "My big strong Jotaro Kujo suddenly can't open a little bottle of medicine so he wants mama to spoon feed him ?"

"Shut up" he snapped defensively, unable to hide the embarrassed blush that spread across his face as he folded his arms close to his chest.

"Silly boy" she chuckled as she measured out a spoonful of medicine and turned to him. "Okay, say 'ahh' for me."

"Ahh" he repeated, closing his eyes and allowing Holly to feed him the spoonful of medicine . He gulped it down quickly , pulling a weird face as he groaned and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand .

Holly fastened the lid and stood up. Just as she made her way to the door, Jotaro called her again, telling her to wait .

Just as she turned around, she was suddenly engulfed in a surprise warm hug from her son. The woman was almost too stunned to speak.

"Jotaro-"

"I love you" she heard him say as kept her wrapped tightly within his large, muscular arms.

"I love you too, Jotaro" Holly smiled, hugging him back.
