Tahimik lang kami habang kumakain.

"HAHAHAHAHA! Yes tita, I still remember the way we hide into Val's under bed just to surprise her."

"So chaotic!" Mom stated.

I mean, ako lang pala yung tahimik.

I sighed in disbelieve on what's happening right now. Dalawa lang naman silang nag-iingay, naiirita na'ko lalo na't ako yung pinaguusapan and there's dad just joining them with a sweet smile.

"What brings you back?"

The room suddenly filled with silence when I spoke.

Nakita kong napaayos sila sa kanilang kinauupuan, si dad naman medyo confused ang reaction niya. Napatingin ako uli sa kanya.

"Well nak he ju-"

"Mom, you know that I'm not talking to you right?"

Napaehem at nag sorry si mom. I literally don't care if I was being disrespectful right now. Napatingin ako uli sa kanya nang bigla siyang nagsalita, "Nothing led me back to you, maybe it's destin-"

"Oh cut the bullshit Theo." Yes, he's Theodore, adorable name but a hurricane that was gone for a few months or years then he suddenly came back out of nowhere. Cool right?

"Anak, calm down." My dad was making me feel relax but I just can't handle this full of shit atmosphere.

"I came back to see you agai-"

"For what?"

"To apologize."

I chuckled on what he just said. Wow this man knows how to apologize after 3 fucking years!

"You what?" Pinipigilan ko tawa ko as in.

"I want to apologize for what I did for the pass three years." He says without looking at me.

"How can I forgive you when you don't know the right shit to apologize?" I said with a calming tone.

He began to look at me and saw his monolid and double eyelid eyes that was begging me to forgive him. Or does he make this just to make me feel the guilt inside me?

"Pwede ba tayong mag-usap sa labas?"

Alam na alam kung pano ako rupukin with that tagalog accent of him. Well his bullshit didn't work. I just get up and go straight oustide in our house, signaling him to follow me.

I turn around just to see him getting closer to me and I immediately distance myself. I began to look at him with a straight face.

"Ano na? Magtititigan na lang ba tayo dito?" Medyo pasigaw na tanong ko sa kanya.

"You've change a lot Val." Listening to his sad tone makes me want to puke.

"And it's not because of you." I said with a cold tone.

He sighed and he began to look down, bumabalak na hawakan ang kamay ko pero naiwasan ko agad.

"Is it required to hold my hands just to apologize to me?" I think he needs to stop watching some lovely dovey drama shit.

"Val, I am very very sorry." He began to get down on his knees by saying those words one by one.

"I know 'di ko pinanindigan yung sinabi ko sa'yo." He get up on his knees.

"Sinabing ano?" Grabe 'di pa niya masabi, talaga bang nanghihingi ng tawad to?

"Na mahal kita-"

I slap him. He never said that.
