Let's Start
3 days passed after Aliya's death , everyone was devastated but they did the last rites . Shehnaaz was numb , in these two days she was just crying , not talking to anyone , she did not even ate anything however everyone was trying to console her but it was of no use . Sidharth was also with his family , he did not even go to his office nor he tried to call anyone .
" Sidharth " Ahmed called his son
" jee abbu " Sidharth replied
" idhar aaiye ........ hame aapse kuch baat karni hai " Ahmed said and he nodded
" kya baat hai abbu ?? " Sidharth asked as he saw his parents in a serious mood
" Sidharth aapne apni phupho se waada kiya tha ........ yaad hai aapko ?? " Ahmed asked
Sidharth snapped towards his father as he remember the promise he made to his aunt while she was taking her last breath . He did not thought of this in last 3 days as he was sad over his phupho's lost . He totally forgot about it
How can he marry Shehnaaz ?? she is 13 years younger than him , he never ever thought of marrying Shehnaaz , he considered her as his sister and most importantly he love someone else . How can he do this ?? He loves Saniya and planned to marry her in few months .
" abbu " Sidharth whispered
" baccha hamne aur aapki ammi ne bhi socha hai ki aapka nikah hum Shehnaaz se karwa dein isse woh hamare paas bhi rahegi aur khush rahegi " Ahmed said
" abbu mene Shehnaaz ke liye kabhi aisa nahi socha hai " Sidharth said
" baccha aapne apni phupho se waada kiya tha ki aap Shehnaaz se nikah karenge " Rima said
" ammi par Shehnaaz humse 13 saal choti hai " Sidharth reasoned
" toh kya hua ?? Shehnaaz ki ammi ne aapko unke liye chuna hai aur Shehnaaz ko bhi koi masla nahi hai " Ahmed said
" Sidharth hum bhi chahte hai ki aap Shehnaaz se nikah karle , bachpan se hum uss bacchi ko jaante hai aur hame pata hai ki usse acchi ladki koi nahi ho sakti aapke liye " Rima said
" aapki ammi bilkul theek keh rahi hai " Ahmed said
" Abbu hum dono mein bhott difference hai " Sidharth said
" Sidharth hum jaante hai par time ke saath saath insaan sikh jaata hai ...... kuch time mein Shehnaaz aapke saath rehna seekh jayegi ....... aur aap bhi uske saath comfortable ho jayenge " Rima said
" han Sidharth ...... Shehnaaz se nikah karlo " Ahmed said
" hum dono ki yahin khwaish hai " Ahmed further added
" lekin ek baat yaad rakhiyega ki aapne marte hue insaan ko apni zubaan di hai ....... mukar mat jaana " Ahmed said
Sidharth knew that it is wrong but he made promise with his phupho that he will marry Shehnaaz and he can't deny it . He is a man of his words and he will not back out .
Without giving a reply to his parents he just left his home and went somewhere . Few hours later he reached his phupho's house .
He was standing outside the house , he felt emotional while going inside because this house has many of his memories , he spent some best time of his life . He went inside and felt nothing but extreme silence , he could hear his footsteps .
He went to Shehnaaz's room and found no one there , he checked balcony and yard , there also he did not find her , sudden fear gripped his heart .
" Shehnaaz " he called out her name but he did not get any response
He started searching her in whole house and found her sitting in her mother's room . He peeped inside the room and saw Shehnaaz sitting on the bed wrapped in her mother's dupatta , she was holding something close to her chest .
Unknowingly his feet started moving towards her , he saw her crying silently holding a picture frame of her parents . She was lost in her world and she couldn't even notice his presence .
" akeli hogyi mein " she whispered looking outside the window towards the moon
" sab mujhe chod kar chale gye " she whispered making his heart prick
" Shehnaaz " he called her softly
Hearing his voice she looked back and found him standing beside her , her eyes were red and the moment she looked at him with her doe eyes which use to be filled with innocence but now they were filled with pain which did something to his heart .
He caressed her hair lovingly making her emotional . She instantly hugged his waist and broke down completely , she started crying loudly making him weak
" sabne mujhe akela chod diya " she said amongst her tear
" mera saath hi aisa kyun hua hai ?? " She cried
" Shhhhhh ...... " he shushed her
" kuch nhi hua " he said caressing her hair
" mujhe akela chod gye sab log " she cried
" kisine akela nhi choda hai tumhe " he said
" phir kyun ammi aur abbu chale gye ?? " she asked making him quiet
" mujhe bhi ammi ke paas jaana hai " she cried
" Shehnaaz " he said little sternly
" nhi ...... mujhe meri ammi paas jaana hai , mujhe yahan nhi rehna akele " she said making him feel sudden pang in his heart
" sambhalon Shehnaaz ....... phupho kabhi bhi tumhari aankhon mein aansoo nhi dekhna chahti thi , woh hamesha tumhe haste hue dekhna chahti thi aur aaj tumhare aansoo se unhe bhi takleef pahochti hogi na " he consoled her
" toh ab unke vaaste rona band karo " he said wiping her tears with his palm
He handed her a glass of water and made her drink some water . He ordered some light food for her .
" araam karo tum " he said making her look at him
He took the picture from her hand and kept it on the side table and made her lay on the bed .
" tum araam karo , thodi der mein dinner aa raha hai " he said and she kept looking at him
After few minutes dinner arrived , he served it in a plate and took it to her room .
" mera mann nhi hai " she said
" pata hai mujhe par phir bhi khana padega ..... waise bhi itne dino se tumne sahi se kuch nahi khaya hai ...... agar khaogi nhi toh bimaar pad jaogi " he said and made her eat little dal rice and went back .
" mein Shehnaaz se nikah karne ke liye tyaar hoon " Sidharth said to his parents and went from there
