You were let go from your job, currently you were looking for a job but nothing looked good. Until you saw Smiling Friends. You were so nervous, hand shaking your resume. You started to overthink, grabbing your courage you walk into Smiling Friends. You walk in nervous as ever you saw a tall red figure.

"H-hello" you tried grabbing his attention but he didn't pay attention, it seemed that he was murky frustrated by something. You tapped his shoulder "what!" "I-I'm s-sorry for a-asking you b-but-" he looked at you with a disgusting face "w-where's your b-boss." "Follow me"

You both started to walk to the bosses office. "Here" you started to walk in as the red figured left. You wondered why he was so mad at you. "Hello there is there something I can help you with!" The boss said with joy and gleam. "I'm a-actually wanting t-to apply for a job h-here." You gave him your resume trying not to shake, but you started to shake.

As he was looking at your resume you felt like you were being watched. You turned around and saw the red figure again, but he walked away when you saw him. The boss started to hum, you looked at him with worry. "You're hired you seem good to fit this job!" "Oh thank y-you s-sir" "please call me your boss."

"O-ok Mr boss" "here I'll show you your employees!" You and the boss started to walk to the breakroom. "Here are your employees!" Everyone looked at you except the red guy. "Boss is this a new employee?" Said a small purple guy. "Yes and her name is Y/n L/n so be kind to her, now when you get a call answer it and make the customer smile!"

"A-alright t-thank you" the boss the walked out "Hello I'm Pim it's gonna be nice to work with you!" The little purple guy was Pim "this is Charlie me and him are best friends" "hey nice to meet you Y/n." "T-thank you n-nice to m-meet you" Pim pointed at the red talk guy "this is Alan" oh so that's his name.

"And this is glep" he pointed at the small lime guy. He was sitting on his bean bag and on his tablet. You suddenly got a phone call, you began to answer it. It was a customer calling saying he needed to be cheered up. "O-ok I-I got t-to go see y-you all later." You then grabbed your stuff just in case.

You started to walk to the place the call was sent. You began to knock on the door. A female opened the door, "are you the Smiling Friends?" "Y-yes I'm here to p-put a smile on your face." She opened the door and you walked in. "So t-tell me ma'am what seems t-to trouble you"

"We'll me and my boyfriend broke up I found out he cheated on me." "Oh my I'm so s-sorry I have an idea to g-get your hopes up" "what is that" "w-want to get some ice cream to cheer y-you up" "yeah that sounds like fun"

You both walked into a ice cream establishment you both ordered your ice cream and sat down. You both began to eat the ice cream. "I haven't had ice cream in a long time." "Well I'm glad do you feel a little better?" "Yeah I do thanks again for making me smile and for the ice cream."

"I-it's what no p-problem glad t-to m-make you happy." You both gave each other a hug and you went back to Smiling Friends.

Couple months later

You really started to love your job make people laugh and smile. You were getting along employee except Alan. For some reason he hated you, no matter how hard you tried to get along with him it would never work. You then just stop talking to him since it was no use.

You began finishing some paper work for the boss, he asked you if you can fill out some paper work and you said sure. It was very late everyone left so you were very tired. You felt someone grab you and hug you. You tried to see who is was you didn't know it was an intruder or not. "You stutter a lot why is that Y/n?" Was this Alan speaking "I'm j-just very s-shy"
