I don't know how long was laying there till someone picked me up and moved me to the couch. I wipper. My stomach hurts, probably from yesterday's feeding. I haven't had real human food in a long time. I try to sleep but I can't. I lift my head to see if anyone is in the room with me and everyone has worried looks on their faces. Loki comes up it me a touches my head.
"Luna, your burning up." He says. I shiver, I was cold and tried all of the sudden. He grabs a blanket and throws it over me. "Can you change back?" I don't it hurts to much. Loki sighs and changes me into my human form. I pull the blanket tighter around by body it gives me a little heat but not enough. I feel clothing appear around me and I look up seeing everyone.
"Luna move over a little."Loki says. I move over a little but everything hurts and I feel very tired even though I have had a full nights rest. It wasn't enough for the god so he picks me up and let's me lay partially on him. He is cold like normal but it some what nice. I bury my head into his chest and closing my eyes so that I could get some rest. Hopefully it will work.
LOKI'S POV
Luna wasn't very responsive. When I felt her head it was like touching the sun. She tried to move over so I helped her out and, she burys her head into my chest like she always did when she got sick on missions or in the cell. I play with her hair while she sleeps.
"Do you want me to get some medicine for her" Wanda asks everyone has now moved on with their lives only Wanda stayed back.
"She can't have human medicine. It makes her go a little crazy and doesn't really help her."
"Oh." Wanda says I could hear and see the disappoint.
"Sorry." I say usually I would say it but I needed to she was her friend too or at least I hope she will become Luna's friend. Wanda smiles and looks at her.
"What happened in Hydra?" She asks me. I flinch a little on the name which sends me into a thousands of horrible memories. Her time was different then Luna's, Bucky's, and I's. She was a volunteer along with her brother while we were forced. I sigh not really wanting to tell the story.
"You don't have to tell me." She says. I am guessing that my silence answered for me.
"But I have another question. Do you love her?" The question hit me like a bullet. I look at Luna who is sleeping on my chest. I don't know how to respond. I stare at her with a confused and conflicted look.
"It's ok, I won't tell anyone." She says getting up from her spot and walking out of the room. I try to process what just happed but it doesn't really work. I touch Luna's forehead and she still feels like the sun. I remove the blanket from her so they she could cool down faster. I reach over and grab the book that is there. It is one of the books Banner wrote. I start to read being carfull of Luna.
TONY'S POV
To say that we were worried was an understatement. When Loki said that she was burning up we all knew that wasn't good. Bucky's face was white as snow. We walk away when we all see that she fall asleep on top of Loki. Somehow we all migrated to my lab except for Wanda.
"Bucky is that normal?" Nat asks.
"Yes." He says but there is more to the story then he is letting on and I can see it in Nat.
"What happened the last time she was like this." Bucky's head lowers and he doesn't respond right away.
"She um... ah..." He was having a hard time speaking abd he looked like he is about to cry. Steve walks over to him and puts an arm around his shoulder. You could see that Bucky reallu cares for Luna.
"She died but she came back with out any help from us or Hydra and she really hasn't been the same since then but somethings she is the same about. Only Loki knows who to really treat her. " All of us are worried now if any of us wasn't, we are worried now.
"Who do we get her to stop?" Bruce asks and you could hear the worry in his voice.
"You have to let it run its course if not she could die." He respons. We all nod. Wanda walks in.
"Hey guys." She says with a small smile. She walks up to Bucky and hugs him, he hugs back.
"What did Loki say?" Peitro asks.
"Not much just that we can't give her human medicine." She says. Bucky nods.
"Couldn't we get like dog medicine?" I ask.
"We haven't tried it. If Hydra gave you anything you took it without knowing what it was. If you got sick you were killed but Luna, Loki, and I always worked together so that if one of us got sick we could fake it by putting on an allusion." Bucky says then shivers.
"So they could have?" I ask not really sure if I could get some or not.
"We better not." He says. It was silence for a few moments before Bucky leave the room. We all give each other looks. He comes back in a few minutes and holds something out to me. It was a blue pill.
"It's one of the pills that they gave her all the time. Loki and I had to have one incase she ever got sick on missions. We never gave it to her because we never knew what was in it." I take the pill and break it open. Bruce comes over and I pour out the chemicals. We both look at each other and raise and eyebrow. It was white substance but the smell told up it was something that she shouldn't be taking.
"Was she given it, if she was in her cell?"
"No they said that it wouldn't help her. Is it bad?"
"We don't know. We have to run a few tests.". I say and everyone nods before heading out to do whatever they are going to do for the rest of the day.
