"LEAVE ME ALONE GOD DAMN IT" I say as I try waft of the birds "there everywhere fucking HELL." I start to run away from the birds "AHHHHH please just LEAVE ME ALONE" I carry on running untill I hit something. I land on the ground holding my head as I see a large muscle man standing in front of me. I stand and bow in front of him "I'm so sorry sir, for bumping into you I mean." He slowly turns around and looks at me unlike anyone else "do you want to die, little boy?"
"Hey are you sure your 15? I mean you look a lot older" I ask in full confidence the straightaway diminishes as some how his stare has got more intense "I guess you do want to die. WELL THAT CAN BE ARRANGED" he say before grabbing hold of my head and begins to squeeze. "AHHHH IM SORRY"
"Hey Yami, what are you doing down here?" a guy with light brown hair asks. "Well FINRAL, I was taking a shit got lost and this little shit bumped into me so I'm teaching him a lesson" Yami replies. "Well Yami sir please you can't kill a child during the magic knight exam" "TCH" Yami replies quickly. "Finral portal now" a portal opens in front of them leading to the observation seats. 'WAIT HE WAS A CAPTAIN'
(Charlotte Roselei POV)
"Hey Sol what do you think of him" I say pointing at the boy just confronted by Yami. "He's kinda cute... erm I mean he's a discussing male that should die, why sis?" Sol says with a blush. "Oh it's just that haha he's kinda cute and should I get him to join us?" Charlotte asks. "I would love for him to join but it looks like he has almost zero magic power so no you shouldn't" Sol sadly says "mmmh I guess your right"
(No ones POV)
"Hey young ones apologies for the long wait but we are here now" says the captain of the golden dawn. As he finishes his sentence hundreds of roots go to every contestant holding a broom, I grab mine. "Know let's begin the magic knights exam" he says with a smile "we are going to test you on a number of things. We 9 captains will be the ones watching over you while you do the exam. And with that all said and done, we'll who we want for our respective squads. That means whoever isn't chosen by any of us, understand that means you've failed the exam. So for the first test is to use that broom and fly"
(Asta's POV)
I step onto the broom 'ok Asta this is it' I try to focus everything I can into the broom. "Whooh omg I'm doing it" "yess I'm flying" "wahooo yeah I can't believe it hahaha." I open my eyes and realise I'm the only person not to be flying and soon everyone else realises and begin laugh at me once again. "Know matter how low someone's mana is, he should still be able to at least get it off the ground." Says the captain Fuegoleon Vermillion.
"Your really funny you know that" says a tall kid with blond hair. "Hey my name's Sekke, what's yours?" He asked sincerely. "Mines Asta" I say nervously "well Asta keep on trying you'll get it soon" he replies with a smile.
(Time skip about 1 hour)
"Now it's time for the final test within the exam and that is a spar. Pair up with a person of your choice you are allowed to use your girmoirs within the spar so now go and pick your partners" says the Golden captain, William Vangeance, states with an unnerving smile.
"Hey Asta why don't you face me?" Says Sekke. "What really you'll fight someone like me? Thank you so much" I reply with genuine happiness. "Ok so you will be fighting until either you or you partner surrenders or is deemed unable to continue, now would the first 2 combatants please step forward" I step forward followed by Sekke "let's fight like real men for the sake of our dreams" I say with a smile plastered onto my face. "You don't need to try anymore, you dirty out of place RAT" the smile on my face disappears "I chose you as a partner so I could half arse this battle so once we're done here you can crawl back to the little pigsty you came from" he looks at me with pure hatred and throws me a sadistic smile. "Ready. Begin" "BRONZE CREATION MAGIC CANON BALL" "he's done for" "no way he's breaking that" "awww I wished I picked him". "You don't need to hold back, just bring it" he say smugly. "Fine I won't" I quickly reply before lunging forward as my anti-magic sword spits out from my grimoir. I lift the sword above my head before plunging it into the ball of pure mana breaking it in 2 and with the follow through hitting Sekke in the shoulder. "What the hell" "what just happened?". "I don't want to be a magic knight for good memories. I wanna become one so I can become the WIZARD KING"
(No one's POV)
"Was that creation magic? Based on the other exams you would think he'd have that kinda power" a confused Finral states. "That wasn't magic" Yami replies further confusing Finral "the wizard king, huh, looks like we have a weirdo on our hands" Yami further states. "Sis did you see that he didn't even use magic" Sol says to her captain. "Indeed I did Sol, oh and call me captain" Charlotte replays with a slight blush at Asta raw strength.
"Ok time for the second match, please step forward" William states. "You may have been chosen by the fourth leaf clover grimoir but your still a filthy little street rat, while I am a noble man" "WIND MAGIC TWISTER" as soon as the spell was casted it collided with Yuno's opponent knocking him out cold. "Whooh he just beat a noble man in one hit" "that's unheard of a commoner beating a noble"
(Tiny time skip)
"Now once you number is called step forward and you will find out whether you passed or failed. Now those chosen by more than 1 captain you have the choice on which squad you join"
"32... Purple sea serpent"
"78... Crimson lions"

"141... Failed"
"Now 164... Well this is interesting which squad do you wish to join?"
"The golden dawn" Yuno says still with out a smile.
(Asta's POV)

"Of course this would happen. Even if you are a good fighter nobody wants a power they can't identify and as the name implies magic knights we're looking for magic power. NOBODY WILL WANT YOU SINCE YOU HAVE NO MAGIC POWER. YOU SAID YOU'LL BECOME THE WIZARD KING RIGHT? MEANING YOUR GOING TO SURPASS THE LIKES OF ME THE REST OF THE CAPTAINS" I sink my head in shame before realising I was about to give up "I'M NOT GIVING UP, ILL COME BACK NEXT YEAR AND THE YEAR AFTER IF I HAVE TO. BECAUSE. I. WILL. BECOME. THE. WIZARD KING" I shout more so to my self. "Hahahah your funny, why not join the black bulls?" He says confusing me "I WASN'T ASKING PIMP SQUEAK" I look at him with hope "BE PREPARED FOR PAIN UNLIKE ANYTHING YOU'VE FELT BEFORE SO you become the wizard king" Yami says smiling at me. "YES SIR, THANK YOU" I say bowing.
