The car ride to the triplets house is fairly silent, with neither Mariah nor Ellie saying saying much because of the blasting music.
They finally arrive and park in the driveway.
"You can go in el, I need to do something really quick but I'll come in right after"
"Uh okay" Ellie responds questionably
She opens the car door and starts to walk up to the front door. She knocks 3 times waiting for someone to answer.
"Matt can you go open the door, I'm guessing it's Peyton" Ellie hears nick call through the house.
"Why can't you get it nick" Matt argues
"I have to piss, just go open the door Matt" nick argues back
"Fine" Matt replies not wanting to argue with nick anymore.
Ellie didn't really process what she was hearing, she just heard them arguing and decided to ignore it which is what she does most of the time.
The door suddenly flings open causing ellie to jump a little.
"Oh, you're not Peyton"
A voice says in front of her making her look up from picking at her nails.
She looks up to see Matt glaring at her with disgust clear in his eyes.
"No I'm not Peyton, but I am here to hangout with her so could you move out of the way?"
Matt stays silent as he steps back a little allowing just enough room for Ellie to squeeze by. She can feel his eyes on her back as she walks into the kitchen looking for Chris or nick.
Matt shuts the door and goes back to the couch to start scrolling through his phone again.
As Ellie is walking to the kitchen she hears stomps coming from the stairs and two seconds later chris appears smiling and running at Ellie consuming her in a hug.
"I've missed you so much el" Chris says excitedly.
"I literally saw you yesterday Chris" Ellie says while rolling her eyes playfully.
"I know but I still missed you"
They break apart and Ellie goes to sit in a chair at the kitchen table. Chris goes to the fridge to get a Pepsi for himself.
"So are you gonna watch minions with us?"
"Well duh that's like the only reason I came over"
"Okay good, we just have to wait for Luke to bring the popcorn cause I can't watch a movie without popcorn" Chris states.
Ellie laughs and just as she's about to say something back to Chris she's interrupted by nick.
"Oh hey el, didn't think you'd be the first one here, wait where's Mariah? I thought she gave you a ride here?" Nick questions
